We had the good fortune of connecting with Glory Laurent and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Glory, how do you think about risk?
I’m my opinion risk builds courage, strength and confidence .I’d like to think that taking risk is one of the best things to do for your business whether the outcome is what you expected or not. Taking risk has given me the opportunity to create change in both my personal and professional life it has also made me develop a sense of quick thinking & resilience.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My goal is to make sure everyone who browse through the site finds something that they would wear and be comfortable in, I also wanted to ensure that all body types were catered to, as of right now every piece on the site is ranging from sizes s-l. I am looking forward to the future releases as there will not only be several new pieces but the sizes will be expanding ensuring that all sizes find pieces that fit their body type. There has been challenges along the way but I am extremely grateful and proud of the progress Neomiwardrobe has made in less than a year. As I am still learning as I go one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is balance. Balancing the needs of the business, being a makeup artist & my well-being I’ve also learned a lot through interacting with my customers , by frequently asking questions like what they’d like to see more of on the site. I not only believe in looking good on the outside but also feeling good on the inside which brings me to my expanding woman athleisure section. Anyone who knows me personally knows I am big taking care of your health and I want people to look and feel good while doing it,This section includes quality pieces with breathable fabric that makes you feel comfortable and confident in what ever activity you decide to take part in.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’m often described as an introvert lol so my favorite spots would be museums, parks and cafès nothing too loud or crowded.

I’d like to acknowledge anyone who has purchased from me these past few months and thank them for their support! A lot more to come.
