Meet Gonzalo Zulueta | Actor, Designer and Entrepenur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gonzalo Zulueta and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gonzalo, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Success can be measured in many different ways and in fact has a different meaning to each unique individual. I think the most important factor behind my success has to be determination and perseverance. Many times people give up when things get rough but if one really pushes through the moments eventually they pass. I like to remind people that no bad situation lasts for ever and eventually everything work outs.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Although 2020 was a rough year, my acting career which began over 7 years ago started seeing the fruits of my labor. I have had the privilege to participate in many productions with Telemundo Global Studios over the years with the most recent project being “100 Dias para Enamorarnos” where I interpret Angel Urdaneta. 100 Dias aired on National Television April 28th, 2020 and later aired on Netflix September 17th. 100 Dias was in the World’s Top 10 Netflix shows for over 10 consecutive weeks and is one of the most viewed shows in history. During 2020 Amazon hired me on many occasions to do social media campaigns promoting Amazon Prime Day and some of their original TV Series. I also began my relationship with Toyota filming many commercials with them. There are many exciting projects coming this 2021, among them “100 Dias Para Enamorarnos” Season 2. I very excited for everyone to get to know my craft.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is full of amazing hot spots, there is literally something for everyone’s taste. I personally love places such as Back Door Monkey, Le Chick Miami, Baby Jane. They all have very cool people and a great vibe. Club Space is probably my favorite club and would recommend 100% if you like Techno and deep house.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In the past I have mentioned a couple of individuals who may have influenced my journey to success. I have learned that there is no book or written scripture on how to achieve success in fact, one has to follow their instinct and heart. My parent’s experiences and life lessons have inspired me to chase my dreams. My mother has always taught me that there are no rewards in life with out sacrifice. One of my favorite phrases I like to say to other aspiring entrepreneur is “you need to fail in order to prevail.” Since I started in the industry at a young age I always made sure to meet as many people as I could and hear their journey and perhaps take a grain from each individual and compile them together.
