We had the good fortune of connecting with Grace Ilunga Nkulu and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Grace, what do you attribute your success to?
As a legal Advisor, it is always a great experience to meet new business owners. They are the reason why I started my brand. Helping small business and entrepreneurs achieving their dreams, is the purpose of my company. I believe that the reason why my brand is growing is having authentic connections. I favour human connections with all my clients because i know that behind every business there is a creative, hard working man or woman.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I founded Guide-Lex to help start-ups and small businesses prevent legal mistakes by checking contracts, making contracts and assessing legal doubts. As a legal Advisor, I regularly hold seminars and workshops to assist my clients in their business journey. I am very excited about creating a community of entrepreneurs who are aware of- and educated on legal issues. The start of my business was not easy because i had to master a lot of skills in addition to my legal knowledge and professional experience. has been challenging because of time. Time flies and before you know it the day is over. I have learned along the way to work efficiently with a strong support system. With Guide-lex, my vision is to prioritise dialogue and transparency with my clients to find tailored solutions to their needs.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Essentially based in Amsterdam, i would take my friends at Museumplein where they can enjoy a picnic and have nice drink on the big square nearby a series of museums worth to visit on the weekends. Right next to Museumplein, I would then bring them in Vondelpark. The parc provides a couple of fun spots to eat (among others : Dutch hot-dogs), walk and enjoy nature right in the middle of the city. As i also work in Brussels, I would make my friend visit the Grand-place, which is a place that Belgian enjoy very much. There are a lot of food place selling delicious french fries, chocolate and waffles. Lastly, being the “centre” of Europe, Brussels offers some must-see places : the garden “Le Botanique”, “Les Galleries Saint-Hubert” and “Parc du Centenaire”.
