Meet Heidi Robinson | Actress, Singer and Creative Support Worker.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Heidi Robinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Heidi, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
Since I was a little girl of 7 I have wrote songs, danced and made dances up and been creative with my friends.
I continued to do this throughout school and college. Although I studied a degree of sport studies and Business Management at University I always went to drama classes in the evening and sang in my bedroom.
I firstly pursued a career in Personal Training as advice I sought was that the arts are very competitive so I needed a career to fall back on.
My heart has always been with creativity and my Personal Training helped me pay for a LIPA Diploma is song, acting and dance.
I faced many struggles along the way on my journey that kept bringing me back to singing and acting. I pursued eventually primarily the creative journey as I LOVE to sing and act and help people.
I am a creative support worker in the Arts for a theatre for social change as well as an actress and singer – Harmoni Zax. I am thrilled to be with Scott Boy Music Group UK.
To sum it up – Love and Fate made me pursue a career in the arts.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a singer called Harmoni Zax. All my songs are written and produced by me alone in my one bedroomed flat!
I write about mental health, addiction, love and the philosophy of life. I have sang in competitions for charity and raising money for a homeless charity.
I am most excited about where my singing and acting will take me. It has been awesome and I am further than I ever thought I could be.
I want the world to know what’s meant for you will find you at the right time, you won’t miss it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If they were visiting Wirral UK I would take them to Liverpool to The Albert Dock and The Beatles museum.
We would have nice food by the water at the Albert Dock. We would travel to a local mountain one day – Moel Famau and walk up it, eating a picnic at the top.
I would take them to The Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and take them to the top to see the sights of Liverpool. I would also take them on The Mersey Ferries.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Most recently after going through hard times and forgetting my dreams and losing my confidence – Collective Encounters Theatre for social Change built me back up through their course Confidence through Creativity.
I was at an all time low and Collective Encounters ignited the spark of my dreams again. I rebuilt my confidence and Abi took me on as a learning administrator. Aidan encouraged me in my singing and Tessa supported me to become a Creative Support Worker and became instrumental in my development as an actress. I have also been blessed by Omar Scott finding my music in sound cloud and supporting me as a singer from Miami!
