We had the good fortune of connecting with Helena Piccoli and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Helena, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking has been my recipe for success, I believe. Each day, I introduce to my clients very unique forms of treatments for pain and movement dysfunction, providing them with very curious observations and bringing awareness to areas that are not at all obvious. I believe in healing through acknowledging the areas of trouble and working directly through them, until they become strong enough not respond to triggers. I also take risks in how I approach the functioning of my business, from the independency of my contractors to the choices of investments made for Lift Vida, I don’t focus on trends and I definitely choose to always bring the best and most important, I give the tools for each one of us to feel empowered and free.

What should our readers know about your business?
Lift Vida is a center of holistic movement. We offer Gyrotonics, pilates, neuromuscular therapy, lymphatic drainage, body talk, reiki, tachyon energy, functional training, neubie, piezo wave, family constellations and more. I came from Brazil at the age of 15 and pursued a career as a professional ballerina until my early 20s. With an early retirement due to injuries, I found myself studying pre med in NYC as a way to figure out my next step. I’m very blessed to be able to integrate my two passions with my movement therapy and to also incorporate my strong spiritual beliefs with the addition of the energy healing to my therapies.
Difficulties possibly? I never thought this way.
I am in United States for 30 years now and my friends are my family here. I’m 100% self made. I have taken numerous course and certifications in Gyrotonics, pilates, family constellations, reiki, manual therapy, hypnosis and so on and I feel so grateful for all the amazing opportunities, my masters and my clients.
My first studio was a bedroom in a condo, then the ground floor of a house and now it is a beautiful 2000 sq feet location in Coral Gables with 14 independent contractors. Some days can be very tricky but then I look around and it is pure magic. The recipe is passion and discipline

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love the beach and I just tend to follow what’s showing in the city as shows, exhibits etc

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
So many important people have participated in this journey with me, but my heart wants to dedicate this to my daughter Clara. She is my inspiration to want to be better, stronger and happier each day. Lift Vida is a consequence of how she feels about me. She thinks I’m invincible, talented, a healer, a dancer, a leader and I listen to her and through that each day o take another step helping the world become a better place
