Hi Imani, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I consider myself a true risk-taker, especially in my career. I firmly believe in living life to the fullest and staying optimistic. I’d rather take a chance on something and know I tried than hold back out of fear of failure. As an entrepreneur, I recognize that taking risks is essential to reach the level of success I know I’m capable of. Many people aspire to start a business but may not fully understand the risks involved, particularly the financial investment it requires. I approach these investments with confidence, believing that what I put in will come back tenfold. I’m fully committed to my vision and future, and I’m willing to invest in what I know will be a bright path forward.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in storytelling and authenticity as a content creator and influencer. My content focuses on sharing authentic moments from my journey, covering everything from behind-the-scenes glimpses of running a business to lifestyle vlogs, product formulation, and motivational content. My mission is to inspire my audience to pursue their best selves, and I’m proud to create content that resonates with people looking for motivation, guidance, or even just a little positivity in their day.

What sets me apart is my dedication to showing the behind-the-scenes reality of entrepreneurship and self-improvement. I believe that transparency builds trust, and I strive to be open about the ups and downs of my journey. Getting to this point wasn’t easy—it required patience, resilience, and a lot of risk-taking. From rebranding my channel to building an engaged audience, each step has taught me the importance of persistence. I learned early on that success is a journey and that staying true to my vision is key, even when things get challenging.

Through this platform, I want to show others that they, too, can create a path that aligns with their passion and purpose. I want the world to know that my brand is about growth, both personal and professional, and that I’m here to inspire and encourage my audience to take bold steps in their own lives.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the ultimate adventure-meets-relaxation week, I’d plan days filled with thrilling excursions and serene beach vibes. We’d kick off with jet skiing along the coast, followed by a shopping spree in the city, and then take an ATV tour through scenic landscapes, stopping for a picnic along the way. A full spa day would help us recharge before we dive into snorkeling and a breathtaking sunset cruise. We’d round out the week by exploring a local farmers’ market and cooking a homemade meal together, finishing with a farewell brunch and one last stroll along the beach. It’s the perfect blend of excitement, luxury, and unforgettable experiences!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible community and support network. First, my YouTube audience and Skinnovations clients—each person who engages with my content and believes in my brand has played a huge role in my journey. Their trust and enthusiasm keep me motivated to innovate, push boundaries, and deliver high-quality products/content that genuinely make a difference.

I’m also grateful for the mentorship and inspiration I’ve gained from following entrepreneurs who embody the resilience and risk-taking mindset I value. Their stories remind me that challenges are part of the process and that investing in myself and my vision will pay off. I wouldn’t be where I am without these incredible influences who have, directly or indirectly, encouraged me to keep aiming high
