We had the good fortune of connecting with Ingrid Desormes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ingrid, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Service. To speak plainly, I am a serviced based person. Going from healthcare to corporate to business development- the thread has been the same. I think ultimately, serving others is my calling so no matter the angle- all feels the same.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’m a business consultant that also happens to be a communication expert. This isn’t about the every day communication of just saying words. I know that most of communicate is non verbal (70% in fact!). I consult on making sure the customer experience is amazing from the initial meeting (which more and more is happening in the digital space when you can’t explain anything. It’s just there for all to see). Seed2Tree supports the challenge of having an expert in every department of a business so that the business owner can focus on what they are an expert in. The bonus results in a better customer experience, better retention, and long term growth. Here’s an example of questions I ask business owners to consider when running ads: What happens after they clicked your ad? How easy is their process? Whats the turn around time to connect? Can they easily identify you as their solution? This think tank process generates revenue simply because we focus on the experience of the target audience with the owner’s brand and gets not only attraction but conversion

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This may be completely unorthodox, but most of the people I attract are simple. Good conversation, good food, good ambiance (which is most likely. my living room since I create quite the vibe there) and we are all set. This is a rarity from what I can tell, but I appreciate the low maintenance nature of my friends. Presence in connection more than environmental influence makes it ‘a time had’ every time!
