We had the good fortune of connecting with Ivonne Camacho and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ivonne, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?

Integrity.
Being in the fashion industry for over 25 years I have worked in countries all over the world. Kong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan. Sri Lanka, India and all of Europe.
Each country has it’s own rhythm. I loved how each country I worked in would start it’s business day. What their values were and high on their priority. Plus Integrity showed when production was late and how each country would handle it.
I have since learned how people today take advantage of so many by stealing their ideas and claiming it as their own.
Integrity is number one for me and my brand.

What should our readers know about your business?

My company has changed a few times to be in line with the changes in today’s times. It’s luxury events, fashion, music and film. Staying in the pulse of new but staying with what works for everyone involved.
I represent a handful of Artists as Luciana Pampalone Award winning Artist/Photographer that I also am liaison of manufacturing her Totes and Tablescapes of her Art.
James Gardiner and Paula Telander owners of Pajama Studios. James is a Composer/Producer with 2x Grammy nominations, 42 Platinum and Gold albums and is featured in the new film directed by Penny Lane a documentary of Kenny G “Listening to Kenny G.” HBO series.
Janel Tanna – Actress/Model
Kathleen Giordano – Interior design/Brand Ambassador/Actress
Alejandra Casa and Duo Elegancia (VP of Preston Bailey) line of totes and tablescapes.
I also do private VIP luxury events to sell designers/artists products. (by invitation only)
I have made mistakes of trusting the wrong people and I am proud that I can forgive and just move on and kept going and never looked back.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

There has been a few wonderful people that have been there to support me. Rick Glavin Founder of the “Carol and Dan Galvin Cancer Foundation” our mothers had cancer and Rick has brought me in for 5 seasons of NYFW to work with him.
I started “AbsolutModerne Models of Philanthropy” my goal was to have beautiful Philanthropists walk the runway of all ages and sizes since 2008. He gave me that opportunity and it has been such a wonderful success.
Another shoutout is to the beautiful ladies that walked for me and supported me:
Mitzi Purdue her organization is “Win This Fight” stopping human trafficking.
Kathleen Giordano Model/Actress and friend – Charity for animals and fighting cancer
Dena McCoy – Author /Actress that has been such a support as a friend and guidance.
