Meet Izabela Bos | Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Simply Luna

We had the good fortune of connecting with Izabela Bos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Izabela, what do you attribute your success to?
When creating the brand, Simply Luna, we wanted to ensure this was not just a brand or logo everyone remembered. We wanted a sense of community, acceptance, and confidence that the brand could introduce into our Luna Babes wardrobes. Additionally, we wanted to ensure every Luna Babe had our value of unity in what they did, how they felt, and what they cast out to those around them. The principle of unity may seem very broad to most, but it drives us to become confident. This confidence brings out a glow in most, growth in accomplishing goals, and happiness that makes one stand out in any room. The mission of Simply Luna presents unity by trying to make every babe feel like a Moon among all of the Stars. The team strives to handpick each item to give a unique addition to ones’ confidence. Although the team focuses on simple and minimal details for our collections, we have set our main purpose to concentrate on empowering each woman to truly love and feel confident in each item while uniting them in a community. As we continue this journey and growth we have set to accomplish, we appreciate all feedback and ideas from our Luna Babes! Our main focus is THEM!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Simply Luna is a women’s boutique, based out of Coral Gables, FL with clothing, swimwear, and accessories curated by myself, Izabela Bos. I originally founded Simply Luna Mid – 2020, the mission was to make every babe feel like a Moon among all of the Stars. The Simply Luna team strives to handpick each item to give each Luna Babe a unique addition to their confidence. Although the team focuses on simple and minimal details for our collections, we have set our main purpose to concentrate on empowering each woman to truly love and feel confident in each item. I always wanted to have to own a business but never was too sure where to start or what industry to enter! Throughout the years, I developed a passion for marketing, fashion, and women empowerment where I was able to grow and learn in all areas to prepare for launching Simple Luna online. After graduating from college, the time came where it hit me – open an online boutique! I thought to myself, why not just go for it?! This lightbulb started with developing the concepts and branding for Simply Luna. Starting a business is never easy, but I did not know how hard it truly would be. At first, being a one-woman band, I thought I could complete everything from branding to inventory in two months. However, it took around double the time with many obstacles to launch Simply Luna’s online storefront. With patience and consistency, I was able to overcome obstacles and focus on the goals set. Lessons learned throughout the process were to be patient and not so harsh on yourself! I would push myself to my limits and at times be discouraged but never give up! There will always be bad and good days in anything you do. As we continue this journey and growth we have set to accomplish, we appreciate all feedback and ideas our Luna Babes may have! Our main focus is them!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am originally not from Miami but there are many places and monthly events to check out down here. This city has a vast amount of places for art lovers, nature adventurists, city entrepreneurs, and beach bucketers. If I had someone visiting me, I would probably take them to the amazing museums and do some dining at our local food joints to get the true experience. Additionally, I would show them some of our local parks where they can see the natural beauty of the Everglades!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Simply Luna would want to dedicate a shoutout to every Luna Babe who has supported our small, local business. During these unforeseen times, we didn’t know how we would strive in the local community. However, we quickly saw how supportive and united the community was once we officially opened our online storefront. Additionally, we cannot thank our team members and models enough for the hard work on the back end to make sure we were rocking and rolling. Our team is small but mighty in all ways. We all strive and have the passion to make every Luna Babe feel like a Moon among all of the Stars.
