We had the good fortune of connecting with Izanna Levintova and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Izanna, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I’ve always been a strong believer in taking a chance or taking that first step. I grew up with a sense of fearlessness, which is odd because both my parents are quite the opposite. I’ve never been afraid of doing something new, meeting someone new, or going somewhere new. Fear is such a conditioned feeling in society today and it seems to always hold people back from improving their lives, whether that be professionally or even personally. I believe that we should always work towards improving and evolving ourselves and our lives. People consider change a “risk”, but I consider it a part of our journey. At 25, I took a risk by quitting my secure corporate job to work toward building my travel startup. I want to inspire people from all over to step outside their comfort zones and experience something new through travel. But to remind them to leave fear at home.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Marketing. I worked for a large media/advertising agency prior to pursuing my travel startup, which was an experience that helped me better understand different markets, brand awareness, and customer behavior. I realized that I had been helping other businesses grow and make revenue and never taking the leap to do it for myself. So after a few years of working in a successful advertising agency, I decided to build my own startup. I learned a lot about the value of kindness and empathy in business and professional contacts. Kindness and fearlessness are two very big parts in my story and my brand. I learned to practice empathy and also maintain my boundaries, which helped me get to where I am.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to the people in my life, whether present or not, who have shown me unconditional support over the years. My parents being on top of that list!
