Throughout my journey, I’ve come to recognize that even seemingly minor choices involve an element of risk.

Recently, my team and I embarked on a year-long journey to put together a groundbreaking deal involving Fan Controlled Racing, in collaboration with Fan Controlled Sports + Entertainment. This undertaking was laden with risk, spanning a multitude of factors. However, it was our willingness to confront and manage these risks that paved the way for a revolutionary game plan, set to reshape not only NASCAR but the entire sports landscape.

As we meticulously pieced together the Fan Controlled Racing project, we were well aware of the challenges and uncertainties that lay ahead. The landscape of sports, particularly in today’s digitally-driven era, presented a myriad of opportunities, but these opportunities were ensconced within a realm of unpredictability. It was by fully embracing these risks that we were able to chart a course towards innovation.

The marriage of fans’ real-time engagement with professional sports decision-making is indeed a paradigm shift. The risk of pioneering this concept was not insignificant, considering the uncharted territory and the potential for resistance from traditional sports structures.
