Hi Jack’ee (Kay), other than deciding to work for yourself, what was the single most important decision you made that contributed to your success?
First, deciding to work for myself was a very hard decision. Once I moved to Florida without family and then quit the company I was working for. I knew I had to do something amazing. Going back to the drawing board

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a natural hair stylist that likes to keep it old school for the most part. Every service includes a shampoo and it is all about hair care. I love the industry and being in the realm of natural. I do not do any chemicals other than color. I am all about healthy natural hair!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the Caribbean vibe so Sunday it’s rise and toast monday smooth calm beach day hang out on Hollywood beach in the night Tuesday coyo and black bird in the night Wednesday during the day citadel for the food and kod in the night. I would try my best to show the diversity of miami

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have worked with a few people that have to do with my success like keema Chang , morine Maggie rose salon I appreciate every single person I have come in contact with through my journey.
