We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacob Stoll and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jacob, why did you pursue a creative career?
As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been creative. Art has always been a part of my life. It is never forced. I was in AP Art during high school and after the death of a very close friend, art became my escape. I started with drawing and painting, learning different styles and techniques: shading, texture, color pallets, etc. I had friends that were into DJing and remixing songs during my teenage years and I was always very into music growing up. This ultimately led me to pursing a career in audio engineer after high school. I graduated from Full Sail University in 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Recording Arts and have been involved in the audio and cinematography space since. Today, I reside in Orlando, FL working as Studio Manager at Iconic Vision Studios – excited to see what the future holds!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I often hear from those around me “You do a lot”, “Jack of all-trades”, “Are you ever not working?”. Honestly, the answer to that last question is NO. I am always looking for ways to improve my professional and personal life. To provide more context, I am 27 years old, grew up in Hinesburg, VT, a small town, and have lived in Orlando, FL since I was 18. The thought of doing something amazing for the world and great with my life has always been there. I strive to learn and apply myself in whatever I do. Always do your best. I think that’s why those around me say those things. I’ve done so many hustles to generate income on my journey from working odd jobs, night shifts at McDonalds, donating plasma, renovating and flipping distressed properties, life insurance, different sales positions, option trading, marketing and promotion; the list could go on. At the end of the day, we only have one life. I have a pretty good idea of the direction I am going and focusing on acquiring various skills and XP.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Where do I start? Universal and Disney would be the obvious destinations. If you’re into the night life Downtown Orlando does have a pretty live club scene and bars. You’ve got City Walk and Downtown Disney for food, drinks and more bars. Park Ave in Winter Park is a more ‘classy’ strip with shopping and restaurants. Of course the beaches are not too far; I like New Smyrna on the East coast, only about an hour from the city, and Siesta Key on the gulf side; less than 2 hour drive.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First, I’d like to thank God for the lessons, talents, and skills he has blessed me with. Second, my parents for their continued support and encouragement through whatever decisions I make. Next, Plush Recording Studios for being my home after college and where I started my career, specifically, AJ and Edwin for opening the door for me to conduct sessions and build my clientele. Kevin T. – a mentor of mine who opened my eyes to the world of financial literacy, real estate and investments. Lastly, my close friends and supporters. You know who you are. We may not speak all the time but we always pick up right where we left off.
