We had the good fortune of connecting with Jacqueline Pichirilo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jacqueline, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking

Taking risks has played a large role in my life and career. I would not be here today if I did not take risks. I started as a medical assistant at 18 years old and then joined Pan American Airlines as a Flight Attendant. I moved from California back to New York City where I was born. I enjoyed traveling all around the world, discovering cultures, and meeting new people. I was blessed to have been living in the tricoastal at a very young age.

Once again, a few years ago I decided to take another risk and study for my Real Estate license. I have been learning a lot and had many great experiences so far as a realtor. I have been enjoying working with my clients, which some have now become friends. I am looking forward to expanding and growing my business as a realtor in the city that I love, Miami.

What should our readers know about your business?
As a Realtor I enjoy helping my clients find their future homes. I provide my clients with a one-on-one experience and providing my clients with this approach allows them to meet their needs.  My authenticity sets me apart from others in the field and transitioning from the medical field into the world of real estate has provided me with a remarkable experience.  It was not easy, but my perseverance and dedication has helped me get to where I am today. I have learned that I should never limit myself and that I can still follow my dreams. I would like for everyone to know age is just a number, never give up on your dreams, and reach for the stars.  The sky’s the limit!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start with a brunch at Bachour, with the most delicious and beautiful pastries in Coral Gables. The Coral Gables is filled with many hidden gems in a lovely historical setting.  The ideal setting would be to take them on a long stroll along Miracle Mile to see the small local shops. Soon after, I would take them sightseeing in Coconut Grove and stop by Bayshore Club Bar & Grill for lunch and afternoon cocktails, while admiring the Marina views. Later for dinner we would head out to ‘Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita’, an international fusion cuisine in Brickell’s Financial District, while enjoying good food along with a panoramic view of the Miami skyline and dancing the night away. To end the night, we would head out to Empire Social Lounge located in Brickell, to finish off the night with a great cigar and a drink in the member’s lounge. The rest of the days we would venture off to the beautiful Miami beaches and go shopping at the Design District. I would also take them to enjoy a day in the Redlands horseback riding. Lastly, before they leave Miami it is a must to take a quick road trip to the Florida Keys to have a slice of the famous key lime pie and watch the sunset.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I cannot select one person. I have always had a great support system starting from my parents, my husband, brother, sister-in-law, my daughter’s, family, and many friends. I am and have been very blessed to have them all in good times and hard times. They are all my support system.
