We had the good fortune of connecting with Jadyn Henderson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jadyn, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
My work life balance has completely changed since I began my journey of entrepreneurship. I went from working about 20 hours a week for someone else’s business to putting in a countless amount of hours a week into my own businesses. Being your own boss comes with many duties and spending time perfecting your craft is one of them. My busy schedule is mainly the reason why I enjoy traveling so much. Traveling for me is my time where I get to rest, relax, and enjoy life!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a business owner of multiple real estate businesses and a licensed Florida Realtor with Keller Williams Elite Realty! Whether your real estate goals are buying or selling, finding an investment property, or building your dream home, I am here to provide you with the resources needed to achieve it all! I am most proud of myself for staying focused and dedicated to my real estate career despite any challenges I face. All of which continue to shape me into the businesswoman I am today. The most important lesson I have learned along my journey so far is to be open to any new experiences because opportunities come in all different forms. I am most excited for my real estate journey to continue because it has only just begun and I know I have so much more to learn and accomplish.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For food we would go to Keke’s Cafe in Boca, Oceans234 in Deerfield, and Kaluz in Fort Lauderdale. We would go jet-skiing in Miami and relax at the beach. We would also go to Sloan’s in Delray for ice cream!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to give a shout-out to my parents for always supporting me in any journey that I choose to embark on. If it was not for my parents, I would not be the person I am today! Growing up my parents were and are still entrepreneurs so I was able to see at first hand what it’s like being your own boss, starting your own business, managing your money and more. I realized that it is in my fundamental nature to be a boss. Now we own businesses together such as Lifestyle Design Homes which is our luxury home development company in Florida!
