We had the good fortune of connecting with James B Kelly Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi James B, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I simply needed ownership over myself and something I can pass down to the family

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love writing music and being in the studio and also performing the songs I created . I am also writing a sitcom show and a movie that would be airing on my very own TV network that on ruku. To tell you how I got this far would be a movie within itself , but to keep it short I never gave up on myself . I’ve been at this for 24 years now and im just getting started .
One thing I learned is to educated yourself on everything your profession is in and don’t take no for an answer .

To tell you a lil more about me I grew up in SW Miami Dade County (Goulds FL) To a single mother of 5 . I then moved to Maryland at the age of 18 years old. Then moved to the, Bronx New York years later then back to Miami and Maryland for the following years

which explains my unique and balanced flow between Down South and East coast when comes to rap

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We Going Down South to the Hood Food Spots you truly can’t experience Miami if you don’t tap into the local neighborhoods eateries . Then we gonna hit KOD’s or the Offices afterwords well hit South Beach and Wet Willies and that’s just the 1st two days

i just give all the glory to God and also my late sister Annquinetta Kelly for putting me on to Hip Hop
