We had the good fortune of connecting with Jason Funt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jason, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
It’s always been in my soul to be an entrepreneur Plus I’m a bit of a weirdo and I like to do things my own way so following the regular path was not in the cards for me plus this is my passion and I’ve always been told if you do what you love the money will come

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
So for the past 20 years I’ve been working on my music and I finally reached a different plateau I’ve always been told by A & Rs well what’s your sound and I think I finally have found it it’s going to be a blues Renditions of Hip Hop so it’s going to be hip-hop Blues 🙂 AKA muddy Jay Von so I’m excited to see what this new form of my artistry will go

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If you’re looking to have a great time and see a lot of graffiti art it’s always fun to go to Wynwood they have great craft beers and no telling what Adventures you can find yourself intertwined with along with great food and some of the best people you have ever met I highly recommended it

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to my mother who has always been there for me no matter what even with my father passing recently she’s been The Rock that holds me together and I love her very much so I want to say thank you Mom for everything you’ve done and standing by me even when the storm was at its wildest
