Hi JENNIFER, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my own business was a decision that was driven by my passion for sustainable fashion and my desire to make a positive impact in the industry. I saw a need for short and sexy dresses for brides, that were not only beautiful and timeless, but also ethically and sustainably produced. Through extensive research and planning, I noticed a gap in the market for bridal dresses that were made eco-friendly | recycled materials and manufactured locally. I knew that starting a business would be challenging, but I was driven by my vision and strong belief that I could create a brand that aligned with my values and offered a unique solution to brides.

Ultimately, I took the leap and launched Cecile de Fleur LLC, with the goal of providing sustainable and ethical alternatives to the non-traditional and glamorous bride. I am proud to offer a line of dresses that not only look beautiful, but also empower women to make conscious choices without compromising. Dresses that can transcend after their wedding day.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is my unwavering commitment to create a better world & accomplish my life’s true purpose. That is to create beauty, contribute to the environment & animals, express love & spirituality through my work. I am most proud of my dedication to creating short and sexy dresses for brides that not only make women look and feel beautiful on their special day, but also align with their values and contribute to a more eco-friendly industry. We are one and everything in life is interconnected.

Getting to where I am today business wise came with alot of challenges and friction where it forced me to redirect my original plan to new ideas and perspectives. Starting a business from scratch required alot of patience, open mind, resilience and perseverance. However, I was able to overcome these obstacles by staying true to my vision, continuously learning and adpating to the ever-changing fashion landscape. Through this experience, I was not only building Cecile de Fleur, but it was also building my character. I seeked spiritual teachers and went to unified therapy to help me grow spirituality, mentally and heartfully. When we heal our old traumas and old family lineage, we heal our business. We become more authentic and in our light that it’ll show up in whatever we create to the world.

My journey to creating my brand is a deeply personal story of spiritual awakening and resilience. Passionate about fashion and nature since childhood, I pursued my dreams, graduating from the New York City Fashion Institute of Technology and building a successful career. Despite facing challenges, including losing my job during the pandemic, I found inspiration for my brand, Cécile de Fleur, during a moment of vulnerability. My story of transformation reflects the universal experience of overcoming obstacles and embracing growth. Through my intentional and purposeful couture, I aim to promote a fashion model that is kinder to both individuals and the planet. Cécile de Fleur embodies the belief in living happily ever after, regardless of the challenges faced.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So many places to visit! A week-long trip filled with iconic landmarks and hidden gems:

We often show appreciation to fellow humans, yet we tend to forget to thank our spirit guides, the universe, and other unseen forces. Therefore, I wish to express my sincere gratitude to my spirit guides for their guidance. Every step of my journey, I’ve been intuitively guided, and I’ve listened. It’s through the universe and our spirit guides that we are directed to those who help us grow and support us in leveling up. This is part of the cycle of life.
