Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Todd of 8evolve.

Hi Jennifer, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The creation of 8evolve was sparked by two things. First, my own curious nature about personal development and the rise of the collective consciousness; and second, the need among wellness facilitators in my circle for technology tools to facilitate the scheduling and monetizing of private and group session offerings.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
8evolve is designed to help individuals on their path of personal transformation by connecting them with conscious Leaders for guidance and wisdom. Our curated marketplace gives users access via the iOS beta app to book live virtual sessions with top wellness leaders from around the world in alternative modalities such as hypnotherapy, sound healing, lucid dreaming, mindfulness and more. We set ourselves apart by focusing on the power of human connection and providing our Leaders the business tools they need to efficiently manage and grow their business. Together we are paving the way to a healthier society.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take friends to a Daycation at one of our amazing Miami Beach hotels, spend time at the pool, spa or beach. Later that day we would go to Lincoln Road for a stroll and then to South Pointe for an incredible dinner at Smith & Wollensky overlooking the water. The next day we would explore Little Havana stopping at Ball & Chain for a mojito before heading to Los Altos for a memorable speakeasy experience.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shout out?
There is a special group of people that helped push the project along and give me the confidence to move it forward. My business partner and Awareness Coach, Irina Vlada, came into my life at just the precise right moment for us to co-create with our personal values aligned in such a way that starting a business together has been almost effortless. My friend Matt Boney, CEO of Daycation, who helped me shift my mindset into a “will do” frame of mind. My family including my Mom Arlene Zachmann, one of 8evolve’s first investors, my daughters Lily and Heidi who fill every day with joy and my husband Valter Castelo who consistently provides me with unconditional love and support.
