We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenniree Beze & Marinés Rosales Jenniree Beze & Marinés Rosales and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenniree Beze & Marinés Rosales, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Our venture began in Venezuela in 2012, where our pastry hobby became a part-time business. The idea was born out of our fascination for combining exotic flavors and our love for pastry. While studying at the university, we took our time off to sell our desserts on campus. People waited every day for us to arrive with desserts to sell. We kept our business for several years in Venezuela until we moved to Miami. In 2016 we created Pipo’s Cake and to this day it is our full-time project and we are happy with the outcome. Our mission is to create high quality products, using the best ingredients and excellent techniques; innovating in flavors and recipes. With the purpose of delivering to our clients, an unforgettable experience of flavor,

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Starting a business is not easy. Upon arriving in Miami, Marines, who is the main pastry chef, had a full-time job apart from what we do with Pipo’s Cake, so it was quite difficult to reach the goals that we had set for ourselves in such a short time, since she spent all the day working on another project. It was a day that we decided to dedicate our full time to Pipo’s Cake. Since 2017 we have worked hard to grow, offer the best service to our clients and position ourselves as a prosperous company. We are very happy with the results in the last years and we are ready for more.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is a city of surprises and fun. We believe that the beach is one of the most important points to visit. We love the tropical vibe that is breathed in South Florida, so our itinerary is linked to the Latin culture. We love the 1 Hotel in South Beach, the fusion between ecological and modern takes our breath away. It has one of the most beautiful rooftops in the city and an incredible view of the beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We are proud to represent entrepreneurial woman. Pipo’s Cake was founded by Marinés Rosales and Jenniree Beze, where Marinés is the head baker and Jenniree is the general manager.
