Hi Jessica, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
So, my favorite quote is “faith without works is dead.” This is part of a bible scripture and I think this can be applied to every part of your life not just in business. For anyone who is a believer, we are taught to have faith, pray, and trust God; and although all these things are true, you still must put in the leg work to accomplish anything in life. This quote helps me to know that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to if I have faith and work towards it.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
So, Beau Enterprise, is an all-natural beauty and health empire. We cater to both women and men for all their health and beauty needs. We believe that we are different from the rest because we do cater to all gender types. We aren’t just a makeup or lipstick company, but we offer products for skin care, beard grooming, and feminine hygiene. We believe that a part of being confident is looking and feeling good all over.

We are most excited about all the new products that we are launching in 2022, we believe that our brand will reach more people this year than before and just the thought has us overjoyed. Hard work and dedication are why we are where we are now, it wasn’t easy and at times I even felt like giving up, but then I remembered my favorite quote and remembered that anything worth having is worth fighting for, in this case worth working for!

One lesson that I have learned since becoming an entrepreneur, is it’s okay to take breaks. Sometimes we feel that taking a break is quitting, but quitting is quitting and it’s okay to take a break as long as you pick up where you left off and keep going. Sometimes you may need a refresh to get back focus, so to all my entrepreneurs, especially my working mom entrepreneurs take a break, it’s okay!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So I am from South Florida, specifically Fort Lauderdale and there is so much to do between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Let’s start with a day of fun in the sun on the beach, get some sand in between our toes and enjoy the water. Next, we can grab something to eat from one of my favorite seafood spots, Sister Sara’s. Later, We can go have drinks at any bar or restaurant on Las Olas and enjoy some good music and dancing. You can’t visit South Florida without visiting Miami, we would go to Wynwood, enjoy some good food, great drinks, and look at art done by the locals. Finish the trip off with some shopping at one of our many outlet malls. There is so much to do and so many people to meet, the possibilities are endless.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my mom Janet, my sister Natasha, and my niece Janae’. These three women have gone above and beyond to help my business flourish, from working for me, to advertising my brand, to investing capital into my business. I can always call them and bounce ideas off them no matter the time of day and I can trust to get their honest opinions. I also want to shoutout my son, because without him I don’t think I would have found the strength or courage to finally start my own business. I’m doing all of this to build generational wealth for him and his children. I would like to shout out my small group of friends, they are so supportive of me and support my business in ways that I would have never imagined. I appreciate them all!
