We had the good fortune of connecting with Joe Rotbart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joe, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I noticed well over a decade ago that physicians of all specialties were severely lacking when it came to technology. They were excellent at being clinicians and taking care of patients, but I had no idea about the world of digital marketing, how critical it was to the success of their practice hence, Logics indeed was born.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Logics MD was built out of a simple but powerful realization: most doctors are exceptional at medicine, but the systems meant to support their growth — marketing, technology, patient acquisition, and digital strategy — are often fragmented, generic, or disconnected from how healthcare actually works.
What sets Logics MD apart is that we operate at the intersection of medicine, technology, and real-world business execution. We don’t sell templates, vanity metrics, or one-size-fits-all marketing. We build customized, data-driven systems for physicians and healthcare practices that are designed to generate trust, authority, and long-term growth — not just clicks or impressions.
I’m most proud of the relationships we’ve built with our clients. Many of the surgeons and practices we work with are leaders in their fields, and they trust us with their reputation. That trust is everything. We take the time to understand their specialty, their patients, and their goals, and then we design strategies that align with how medicine is actually practiced — ethically, compliantly, and sustainably.
Getting to this point was not easy. Logics MD wasn’t built overnight, and it certainly wasn’t built without setbacks. Like many entrepreneurs, I learned through trial, error, and persistence. There were moments of financial pressure, difficult client decisions, and times when I had to completely rework how the business operated. Each challenge forced me to become more disciplined, more focused, and more intentional about the kind of company I wanted to build.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that clarity beats hustle. Early on, it’s tempting to say yes to everything. Over time, I learned that real growth comes from narrowing your focus, choosing the right clients, and doing fewer things exceptionally well. I also learned the importance of boundaries — in business, in partnerships, and in leadership.
What I want the world to know about Logics MD is that we are built on integrity, precision, and long-term thinking. We’re not here for shortcuts or quick wins. We’re here to help healthcare professionals build strong, credible brands and systems that support better patient care and better lives.
And what I want people to know about my story is this: resilience matters. You don’t need a perfect path or a flawless start. You need consistency, accountability, and the willingness to adapt. If you keep showing up, refining your craft, and staying true to your values, progress follows.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Day 1 – Arrival + South Beach Reset
We’d start easy. Walk the beach, decompress, and let Miami set the tone. Dinner somewhere relaxed with ocean views, then an early night. Miami is better when you pace it.

Day 2 – Culture + Old Miami
Morning cafecito and pastelitos in Little Havana, walking Calle Ocho, talking to locals, listening to music coming out of the windows.
Lunch at Versailles or a smaller neighborhood spot.
Evening drinks and Cuban salsa at Ball & Chain — live music, history, real Miami energy.

Day 3 – Wynwood + Creative Side
Spend the day in Wynwood — murals, galleries, and coffee stops.
Lunch somewhere casual and creative.
Dinner at KYU, then drinks nearby. This is where Miami feels young, artistic, and alive.

Day 4 – Nature + Perspective
Drive out to Key Biscayne.
Beach time, quiet, no scene — just water and space to breathe.
Late lunch and sunset back in the city. This day is about contrast — Miami isn’t just nightlife.

Day 5 – Brickell + Modern Miami
Breakfast walk through Brickell, coffee, people-watching.
Shopping and lunch at Brickell City Centre.
Dinner at Zuma or Komodo — polished, high-energy, very Miami.

Day 6 – Water + Celebration
I’m not a boat guy but you should do a Boat day on Biscayne Bay if possible — no better way to understand the city.
Casual dockside food, music, sun.
Finish with a rooftop drink at Sugar or Juvi

Day 7 – Slow Finish
Brunch, a final walk by the water, and reflection. Miami hits harder when you slow down at the end.
What makes Miami special
It’s the people — ambitious, creative, international.
It’s the contrast — luxury next to grit, calm next to chaos.
And it’s the energy — if you come open-minded, Miami gives you exactly what you need.
Miami isn’t just a place you visit. It’s a place you feel.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I give all credit to God. Everything I have is because of him. My business principle is simple to serve others the best I can with the skills that I have been given.

I also have to give credit to my family for supporting me, and of course, my partners who supported me and helped me grow over the last 15 years. Last, but not least my clients if it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have a business.
