We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordyn Appelblatt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordyn, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I started my business in high school. I was searching for a way to serve the horse community in South Florida, while also pursuing a passion and making a quick buck. As a young, driven photographer with competitive pricing, I quickly became booked up, photographing horse shows every weekend. These days, the thought behind my business practice remains the same. Creating magic behind the camera is a passion of mine I will always pursue. There is no feeling that matches the excitement I feel when delivering galleries to a client after a photo session.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets my work apart from others is the passion I capture in my photos. I mainly focus on couples and family portrait sessions; I have found my hidden talent in capturing relationships and love through my photography. Building my business has not been easy due to competition in the industry, but I use my talent to set myself apart from others and continue booking sessions and growing my business.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give thanks to my parents for always pushing me to pursue my crazy dreams. I would not have pursued this passion for photography without them.
