We had the good fortune of connecting with Joseph Giovanni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joseph, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting Stallion International Group wasn’t just a business decision—it was personal. After working in the security field for about 14 years now, I saw too many situations where clients weren’t truly protected. Corners were cut, communication was poor, and there was a real lack of accountability. I knew there had to be a better way.

I wanted to create a company that didn’t just show up, but stood out—where professionalism, readiness, and trust were non-negotiable. In Florida especially, with everything from hurricanes to protests to high-profile events, the stakes are high. People need to feel safe and supported, not just ‘watched.’

Stallion International Group was built from the ground up with that mission: to provide elite, responsive, and human-centered security. We’re not just here to guard—we’re here to lead, protect, and give peace of mind when it matters most.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Stallion International Group isn’t your average security company—we were built for the moments that matter most.

What sets us apart is our commitment to proactive protection, real-time communication, and elite-level professionalism. We don’t just “show up and stand guard.” We assess, adapt, and act with purpose—whether it’s securing a high-profile event, protecting families during hurricane season, or deploying officers during civil unrest.

But what truly defines us is the responsibility we carry in protecting life’s most cherished and irreplaceable moments—from keeping a bride and groom safe on their wedding day, to ensuring peace and privacy during a family’s final goodbye at a funeral. These moments can’t be repeated, and we don’t take that lightly.

One thing I’m incredibly proud of is the trust we’ve built with our clients. From private estates to corporate contracts and large public gatherings, people know they can rely on us. We operate with integrity, discretion, and urgency—because in this business, second chances aren’t promised.

Getting to where we are today wasn’t easy. We started with limited resources but a relentless drive to raise the bar. The hardest part? Breaking through an industry that too often settles for “good enough.” We had to prove ourselves, again and again. That meant long nights, constant learning, and doing the job better than expected—even when no one was watching.

One major lesson I’ve learned along the way is this: Reputation is everything. You can’t buy trust—you earn it one detail, one client, and one crisis at a time.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know, it’s that Stallion International Group was built with purpose. We’re not here just to offer security services—we’re here to lead with integrity, protect what matters, and be the team people can depend on when things go sideways. Whether it’s guarding the start of a lifelong memory or protecting the dignity of a final farewell, we show up with the care and strength those moments deserve.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my buddies from NYC, Jersey, or CT were flying in for a week, I’m giving them the full Miami experience—nothing watered down. We’re talking fast cars, big steaks, rooftop bottles, late-night cigars, and ocean views. Here’s how we run it:

Day 1 – Welcome to the 305
Touchdown: Pick them up in something loud—Lambo or Hellcat rental from MPH Club or Gotham Dream Cars.

Lunch: Red Rooster Overtown—Southern soul meets Miami flavor. Chill, flavorful, and culture-rich.

Check-In: SLS Brickell or Mr. C Coconut Grove—modern, upscale, close to the action.

Dinner: Prime 112—the NYC of Miami steakhouses. Dry-aged cuts, truffle mac, strong pours.

Late Night: Empire Social Lounge in Brickell—cigars, leather seats, good whiskey, real vibe.

Day 2 – Speed & Sun
Morning: Charter a center-console speedboat or yacht out of Haulover Marina. Fast run down to Key Biscayne or Stiltsville. Music, liquor, sun.

Afternoon on the water: Jet skis, cigar break on deck, or dive in. Cooler loaded.

Dinner: The Wagyu Bar in Coral Gables—underrated gem, pure carnivore heaven.

After Hours: Back to The Wharf Miami—riverfront, DJs, casual energy with real movement.

Day 3 – Art, Power, & Cigar Culture
Morning: Quick stop through Wynwood for graffiti walls, coffee at Panther Coffee, and some cool streetwear shopping.

Lunch: COTE Miami—Korean steakhouse with high-end NYC roots. The meat? Next-level.

Evening: Lost Boy Dry Goods—for an old-school downtown Miami whiskey bar feel.

Cigars: Wrap it up at Casa de Montecristo on Miracle Mile. Chill with a pour of Blanton’s or Macallan 18.

Day 4 – Day Trip Energy: Keys Run or Supercar Drive
Option A: Drive supercars down to the Florida Keys—Overseas Highway, windows down, playlist on. Stop in Islamorada, lunch at Lazy Days.

Option B: Track day at Homestead-Miami Speedway—book private laps or drift sessions.

Dinner Back in Miami: Papi Steak—high energy, top-tier service, gold steak if you’re feeling bold.

Nightcap: Lounge at Komodo upstairs or head to LIV if the crew wants to really let loose.

Day 5 – Recovery Mode, But Still Sharp
Brunch: Greenstreet Café in Coconut Grove—strong coffee, solid menu, no rush.

Pool/Chill: Daybeds at 1 Hotel Rooftop or Strawberry Moon at the Goodtime Hotel.

Dinner: STK Miami Beach—music, steak, and bottle service built-in.

Cigars: Hit Little Havana for a late-night roll at El Titan de Bronze or relax at Sabor Havana Lounge in Doral.

Day 6 – Last Lap
Brunch: B Bistro + Bakery in Brickell—killer food, low-key chic.

Afternoon: Rinse the salt off with a spa session or just chill at the rooftop pool.

Final Dinner: Dirty French Steakhouse—NYC attitude with Miami execution.

Farewell Cigar & Whiskey: Back to Empire, The Drawing Room, or keep it real at Club Macanudo-style lounge.

Day 7 – Jet Out
Final breakfast: La Industria by Nicky Jam for a Dominican send-off.

Drop-off at MIA, dap up the squad, and let ‘em fly home with stories they’ll be talking about for weeks.

Bottom line?
Miami moves fast, but we move faster.
It’s the East Coast hustle with a South Florida twist—palm trees, horsepower, top-shelf liquor, and everything dialed in just right. Ain’t no better way to show the boys what Florida really feels like.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. No one builds something meaningful alone, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people who’ve helped shape my journey.

First and foremost, I want to give a special shoutout to my colleague and close friend, Conrad. He taught me so much about this industry—far beyond just the technical side. His work ethic, integrity, and leadership had a huge influence on me. Truthfully, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. Sadly, after Hurricane Ian, Conrad was laid to rest, but his impact lives on in everything I do. This company, and every life we help protect, carries a piece of his legacy.

There are so many others who deserve recognition—mentors who pushed me harder, friends who believed in the vision before it existed, and even critics who challenged me to be better. Every bit of support, advice, and tough love helped shape the foundation of Stallion International Group.

This journey has always been bigger than just me—and I’ll never forget the people who helped me carry the weight.
