We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin “JC” Collins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Justin “JC”, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is service and authenticity. No matter what, at all times, I’m looking to serve and provide value. With my clients, helping to serve them to reach their health and fitness goals, however it has to be done to arrive them at their desired result. And in the process of serving, always remaining in authenticity, by leading, but at the same time living the exact lifestyle I am helping them to achieve, and showing them how to on a daily basis by the way that I live. Serving, and leading from the front.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is the Fitness by JC Body Transformation Program, where we help clients transform their mindset, body (weight loss/gain), purpose and lifestyle, to fully optimize and create their ideal best life. What sets us apart from others is that we truly care, and focus on serving our clients no matter what it takes, and over delivering on their results. To date, we’ve had 1,500 plus clients reach their goals, and every single before and after is the most fulfilling reward. A happy client living their best life, and leading, which inspires others to do the same. The gift that keeps giving. How we got to where we are started with myself going through my own weight loss transformation losing 40 lbs with the help of my Fitness coach Rob Reed Fitness. With Rob’s help, I was able to achieve my goal on conquering an 8 year struggle with weight. By going through the process, I became equipped with the skills to help others by understanding the process itself. Walking in the same shoes they’re walking in makes a great difference in being able to relate to what they’re going through, and will go through. I like to Call it the edge, turning your previous weakness into your power. From that point, I called on the help of Michael Chu, and Champion Development to assist me in helping me properly grow my business, and to provide the best experience for each and every client, start to finish, during their program. A few huge lessons I’ve learned along the way is ask for help. If you don’t know how to do something, rather than staying stuck, ask someone who is doing what you want to do, how they did it, and to teach you. That simple step will help you learn and arrive at your destination faster, and eliminate a ton of headaches and obstacles. Next, don’t be afraid to go for what you want in life. Your best life awaits you if you do, because if you don’t, you’ll never have it. And lastly, give, always give. With each and every client give every possible ounce of support and guidance above and beyond what anyone would expect. It will always results in massive success, happy clients, and a growing business. It’s not about what you can do for you, it’s what YOU can do for THEM. And what I would like to let the world know about myself and my story is that I am no different than you. Same 24/7, 365. Whatever you want in life you can have, if you’re willing to decide to be great, cut the excuses, put in the work, and create your opportunity to have it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend was visiting, I would take them to south beach to hit the beach and see the location, or hop on a boat and hit the water. If they were in the mood for brunch we’d stay on that side of town and visit Nikki Beach, and for dinner, my favorite Restaurants Prime 112, or Prime Italian. The best steaks in town(amongst other things), and the spaghetti and 1 lb Kobe meatball? Simply delicious. For a quick sip, head over to the rooftop at 1 Hotel or MILA in south beach, or the Miami Sugar Bar on the rooftop of the East Building. When it came time for dessert, head over to Big Pink in South beach for a gigantic slice of red velvet or Oreo cheesecake, and call it a night.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shout out to both my mom and dad for providing me all the tools to have a great shot at success, My Fitness Coach Rob Reed Fitness, My business coach Mike Chu at Champion Development, and Mentors Sam Bakhtiar(rip), Rob Wilson, and Bedros Khulian.
