We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaelan Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaelan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk is no different than learning how to pick up a new hobby. At first, you are not going to be good at it. As time progresses, you soon find yourself becoming inspired and motivated through the process of building yourself into this skill-set. Once the results begin to show, naturally, you want to continue for the sake of advancement.

As an entrepreneur, the motive is to build upon subsidized skill-sets that will facilitate the main purpose of what it is that you provide as both vision and branding.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I am in the process of creating my online strength and conditioning coaching business.

My brand is Kaelan. As a young man, I was always involved in sports. My main niches were Wrestling / Track & Field. I ended up competing at the collegiate level for 5 years and eventually, intertwined myself into working with Professional athletes such as (MMA, NBA, NFL) and all other walks of life such as fitness enthusiasts and high-level CEO executives.

At first, the process in becoming a coach was not easy. There were several days and nights that I literally lived at the facility in hopes of investing my time, building my skill-sets, and evolving myself to become the best coach that I can be for those.

As a coach, I have learned that it is more than just about getting people results — It is about building an intrapersonal connection with them that lasts in loyalty and gratitude. Being a coach has to do with being a best friend, a mentor, a leader, a psychologist, a therapist, all in one. To create a desired effect, you must have the steps and strategies to enable a positive reinforcement on behavior and connection.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well, if it was one of my boys, we would venture out to Downtown Fort Lauderdale or Brickell. Most of the life in these areas are very diverse and we can go out to an assortment of places. For food, I enjoy the scenic routes of Mom & Pop shops to the luxurious taste of high-end restaurants.

My recommendation would be to visit these spots in South Florida!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a personal shout-out to God Himself. Through all things in life, I would not be here without Him and trusting in his guidance toward life.

I also want to thank my family, my friends, and those that have trusted the process with me in allowing me to grow and prosper as an entrepreneur.

I would like to thank lastly Phil Daru, my mentor, for providing me the steps and opportunities that have came in becoming the best coach that I can possibly be for any and everybody.
