We had the good fortune of connecting with Kaeron Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kaeron, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Throughout my life, I’ve always been big on hygiene. Finding products that are affordable, high quality, vegan, and aesthetically pleasing has been a struggle for me. Most products I’ve come across were either not long-lasting, had weird smells, or just didn’t feel like they catered to my vibe. However, I noticed a gap in the market and decided to take matters into my own hands. I launched an all-natural skincare line with luxurious products that cater to both men and women.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Hypegiene is a luxury skincare product company. Each product is designed for individuals who take pride in their hygiene, appreciates luxury, and demand more from a specific cosmetic product.

I am extremely proud of my versatile product line and sleek designs. The progress my business has made in the last year has been phenomenal. I am excited to continue diversifying my product line, adding unique items that look and smell amazing while also being healthy and safe for our planet. Additionally, I am excited about partnering with retailers who want to collaborate with Hypegiene.

Getting to where I am today was by no means easy. I endured many hurdles. I have learned a lot about cosmetics, their effects on our bodies and the environment, and how to develop safe high quality products. Through perseverance and belief in my vision, I have been able to overcome challenges and have contributed to the cosmetic industry in a meaningful way.

The world should know that Hypegiene is ready to make an impact and become a household name. We are here to stay!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When my friends come to visit, I always take them to downtown Brickell. It’s such a great area, and since it’s practically my backyard, I know all the best spots! For lunch we would go to Moxies, and for dinner, Sexy Fish Miami or Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar. For a fun night out, Mr Jones nightclub is the place to be. Also, going by Pelican Bar and hitting the water on jet skis and a yacht is a must!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Starting a business is no small feat. Having a support system is critical, especially during the low moments. I’d like to thank my mom, Rosemarie Smith, and also my close friend/advisor Raven Rankine. These two women have always been supportive and played a major role in my success.
