We had the good fortune of connecting with Karolina Dolecki and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karolina, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Work and life balance can be tricky. It definitely changes throughout your life depending on different circumstances and situations. Being a single mom with a business and five kids makes work life balance even more challenging, but not impossible. My business Wellness for Eternity requires lots of work and commitment. I have two spa locations. One in Marco island and one in Naples Florida, Both specialize in customized luxury face treatments using the top brands Biologique Recherche, Nescens, and Valmont. It’s a lot of pressure because my clients expect the best from me and expect me to be on top of things for them.
Also, life can be unexpected and surprising for all of us, so it helps to have goals to help us stay on track. For me personally, having goals gives me a better perspective of how things are going and helps me plan my days. It also gives me peace of mind and forces me to stay organized. I’m old school. I still use a pen and a paper for my daily to-do list and like to write my goals down. Writing down my top three tasks for the day helps me to focus on priorities. The list can get long so it’s important to focus on your top daily goals and not all of them at once.
Every morning, I wake up very early at 4am, before everyone in the house. I value and enjoy my morning routine. It’s not always easy but I make it a priority. Part of the routine is applying a beauty mask on my face for five to ten minutes. I do it every day religiously. I strongly believe you can always make time for yourself if you really try. And if I can do it with 5 kids, anyone can!
When it comes to work life balance, there is much more behind it than just the time you spend at work and the time spent at home. To keep the balance, you need to be productive at work, have strong time management skills, but you also need to find happiness at home.
Also, my advice is to not be too harsh on yourself if something falls off the wagon unexpectedly. As long as you make the effort, that is what really counts. They say that the tiny moments make us feel happy and fulfilled. It is so true! Whenever I feel like my work life and home life are balanced, I am able to be more grateful for each new experience!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is my passion. My passion for skin and beauty. I started Wellness for Eternity in 2015 after becoming a certified Nutrition Therapist, Health Coach and licensed esthetician. In 2020, I moved to Marco Island. I wanted to change my vision to a more holistic skin care approach. It was not an easy time since I was also going through a divorce and still had kids that needed me. But I know that sometimes scary changes create new opportunities and give us the power to be brave.
Wellness For Eternity is a beauty oasis that provides organic and medicinal treatments for different skin care needs. Treatment looks different for everyone because our skin is affected by factors like our lifestyle, diet, climate, hormones. Skincare is all about finding what works for you as an individual and we’re here to help. Also, our list of services is small, but mighty. As one of the few spas that uses the healing powers of the brands Biologique Recherche, Valmont and Nescens, we carry the most advanced technology and beauty products available.
One of the lessons I’ve learned along my journey of starting a business is that consistency, discipline, and determination can get you very far. Routine, too. I stick to my routine religiously. I’ve also learned to be open minded, yet rely on myself to get things done. My mantra is do good and be polite. Give more and have no expectations. Work smart, not hard.
I am grateful for the opportunity to support people in their path to wellness. My hope is that my clients always feel right at home with us.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I enjoy cozy places and spending time with family. I’m relatively new to Naples, so I don’t go out that often. I love to cook and host in my own lanai! But I also love the beach. The beaches here in Naples are beautiful and there is nothing better than relaxing to the sound of the ocean waves. Whenever I do go out, I have my favorite places. I love The Bohemian restaurant in Bonita Spring. The whole design and atmosphere of that place is exceptional! The food and drinks are a unique journey. You get a true trendy experience at the Bohemian! Basically, I like spots with good food, ambience, and atmosphere. I like to feel the soul of a place.
Another place I go to is Molto, my favorite Italian spot on 5th Ave. Molto is all about celebrating the Italian tradition and having a great time. Next to my house in North Naples there is also Casa Cotzelli, which is my favorite local place. The owners are great and make you feel like you are at home with their delicious Italian cuisine. It’s my favorite place to grab a glass of good red wine after a long day.
I lived in Marco before and the number one place there for me is Oyster Society on Collier. It has an island vibe to it with the highest standards. The food is exceptional and unbelievable drinks too. They have live music quite often and a welcoming staff. And it’s only a two minute walk to the beach. Francesco the owner makes you feel like you are a special guest among the locals. But, I would still prefer a home cook out with some Frank Sinatra playing in the background, and enjoying a glass of good wine by the pool.
Just like I expect from the places I visit, I try to make sure that my spa is also cozy for my clients and that they have the best experience possible. That’s important.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My kids! They are my inside strength!
