We had the good fortune of connecting with Kate Obert and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kate, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success and the success of my brand is being in alignment with myself. This means knowing who I am, what my style and vibe is, and listening to my energy. It’s easy to get caught up in the online noise of strategies and advice, but the truth is that there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to success. Once I learned to focus on my unique strengths and embrace my individuality, things started falling into place. I used to compare myself to others and try to copy their strategies, but that kept me stuck. Instead, I realized the importance of illuminating who I am and being the most authentic version of myself. The more I leaned into my skills, expertise, passions, and personality, the more success I experienced both monetarily and in terms of fulfillment and abundance. Ultimately, the key to success is learning how to articulate and express your true self, and the more you do this, the more magnetic you become.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a brand consultant and stylist to founders and entrepreneurs. My business is all about helping people discover their true selves and showcase that authentically to the world through the use of their aesthetic style and strategies in their personal brands. My clients will come to me after they’ve had success in their corporate role or through their business they built and now they’re ready to leverage their knowledge, expertise and name to either consult, book speaking engagements, become advisors to companies, enter into a different industry they’re passionate about or all of the above. I help them get clear on their brand positioning and visibility strategy.

What I’m most proud of is the transformation that I see in my clients. When they start working with me, many of them are unsure of who they are or how to express themselves in an authentic way. But as we work together, they gain confidence, clarity, and a sense of alignment. They’re able to make better decisions and take risks that they might not have considered before. It’s truly amazing to witness.

Getting to where I am today was not easy. I faced many challenges along the way, from figuring out my niche to building my brand to attracting clients. One of the biggest lessons I learned is the importance of being true to myself and my values. To trust myself and lean into my own unique style and vibe. I’ve also learned the power of community and collaboration. By surrounding myself with supportive people and partnering with others who share my vision, I’ve been able to overcome obstacles and grow my business.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that it’s not just about creating a perfect image or following trends. It’s about discovering who you are and expressing that in a way that feels authentic and aligned. I believe that everyone has a unique style and voice that deserves to be heard, and I’m passionate about helping people discover and showcase that to the world. My mission is to empower people to embrace their individuality and use it as a tool to achieve their goals and create the life they desire. I truly believe that when you are aligned with your authentic self, everything falls into place.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First things first, staying at the Edition Hotel in South Beach is an absolute must! The hotel has an incredible aesthetic, amazing service, and a stunning pool that makes you feel like you’re in paradise.

Next up, take a stroll down Ocean Drive and check out the colorful Art Deco buildings – it’s an iconic part of Miami’s history and a great spot for pictures. And don’t forget to hit up the beach while you’re there!

For an even more vibrant and colorful experience, head to Wynwood, one of Miami’s trendiest neighborhoods. You’ll be blown away by the amazing street art and galleries, and you can even take a walking tour to learn about the history and culture of the area.

If you’re in the mood for something more elegant, make sure to visit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. This stunning property features a beautiful Italian Renaissance-style villa and breathtaking gardens that will take your breath away.

And of course, no trip to Miami would be complete without enjoying the water! Consider renting a yacht for the day to explore Miami’s waterways and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It’s the perfect way to relax and soak up the sunshine.

While there are countless people to thank for their support, there is one person who truly stands out to me – Jordan Divecha. Six years ago, Jordan gave me a copy of “You Are a Badass at Making Money” by Jen Sincero. This book completely shifted my perspective on personal development and mindset work. It was the first time I realized that I could actually control my life and create the life I wanted. I learned about the energetic side of money and value, and it changed everything for me. I’ve read the book at least once a year since then and it’s had a profound impact on my personal and professional growth. Jordan and I have also built a supportive relationship over the years, and her mentorship and encouragement have been invaluable in helping me become the person I am today. I am forever grateful to her and to the countless others who have supported me along the way.
