Meet Kayla Lyn | Holistic Wellness Coach & Yoga Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kayla Lyn and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kayla, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I always dreamed of starting my own business and working for myself. I was in the midst of job hunting for a hopeful career in HR after leaving a 13 year career in coffee shop management/retail. I landed a job that I thought would be my foot in the door until I got laid off. I felt lost and as if my job experience was not enough to get my where I wanted to be. My partner suggested that I start my own business as I was about to complete my life coaching certification and was already a certified yoga instructor. And so, Live Inspired Wellness was born!
I knew there were leaders out there like me experiencing high stress situations, always being on-call, and missing out on important life events and moments with family and friends. My goal with Live Inspired Wellness is to help individuals find their freedom and create a harmonious work/life experience through coaching and yoga. Wellness starts from within through mind, body, and spirit. I use a holistic approach to target mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness.
I incorporate yoga with my clients because I want them to experience the way yoga made my feel when I was highly stressed. Yoga is more than just a pose. It’s a becoming of yourself through movement and breath. It truly is a journey you embark on mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

What should our readers know about your business?
Live Inspired Wellness was born from both personal transformation and professional evolution. After over a decade in corporate management, I experienced firsthand the toll that chronic stress, burnout, and disconnection can take on our well-being. That journey is what ultimately set me on the path to becoming a certified yoga instructor and holistic life coach. I wanted to help others navigate the same overwhelm I had once faced—but with more tools, support, and intention.
What sets Live Inspired Wellness apart is my integrative, heart-led approach. I don’t just focus on one area of life—I create space for individuals to thrive mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Through customized coaching, yoga, mindfulness, and community experiences like retreats, I support people in aligning their inner world with the life they want to live.
Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Transitioning from a secure corporate role to building a soul-led business meant facing fear, uncertainty, and plenty of imposter syndrome. But through consistency, self-trust, and leaning into my own wellness practices, I found resilience. The biggest lesson I’ve learned? You can’t guide others into peace and clarity unless you’re doing the work yourself. Embodiment matters.
Today, I’m most proud of the meaningful impact this work has had—seeing clients regain their spark, set boundaries, and create lives that feel inspired and sustainable. I want the world to know that Live Inspired Wellness is more than a business. It’s a movement that says your wellness isn’t a luxury—it’s your foundation for leading, living, and loving fully.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely recommend for my best friend to visit between December and April because the weather is the best with low humidity, cooler temps, and little to no rain. We would definitely be spending our days out on at the beach or on the water paddle boarding in the Bay. We would check out Wynwood and the Design District for some true Miami culture and delicious eats. One of my favorite spots that would certainly be a go-to is Pura Vida Miami. Then we would head over to Key Biscayne for dinner at the Rusty Pelican and a beautiful sunset with the city scape in the background.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It’s hard to point out one person in particular because it takes a village of support to find success. I would love to dedicate this Shoutout to my community, friends, family, and my partner, Ryan for supporting me through it all. They’ve all been my coach, mentor, or listening ear for my ideas and plans. I greatly value their feedback and support from the inception of Live Inspired Wellness to today!
