Meet Kevin Graham | Fine Art Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Graham and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kevin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my own photography business came from a desire to combine my artistic vision with meaningful collaboration. I wanted to create a platform where I wasn’t just producing images in isolation, but working collectively with others to bring projects to life. To achieve this, I pursued partnerships with creative agencies, tapped into my personal contacts, and engaged with art galleries. These collaborations allowed me not only to produce new works, but also to plan, curate, and deliver high-end photography that reflected both my artistic style and the shared vision of the people I worked with.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My path to where I am today as a photographer has been anything but easy, but it has been deeply fulfilling. The journey was pure, exciting, and full of lessons that pushed me to grow—not just as an artist, but as a person. Along the way, I faced challenges and setbacks, but instead of letting them discourage me, I embraced them as opportunities to learn and evolve. That process gave me the chance to forge life-changing relationships and to see how powerful art can be when it’s built on collaboration and shared vision.
Through it all, I’ve learned that success doesn’t come from shortcuts; it comes from passion, persistence, and the people you choose to surround yourself with. I want the world to know that my brand is rooted in compassion, equality, and community. My photography is more than just creating images—it’s about telling stories, connecting people, and cultivating a sense of belonging. That foundation is something I plan to nurture and evolve for years to come, as my work continues to grow and inspire.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit me in Miami for a week, I’d make sure they experienced the perfect mix of art, culture, food, and nightlife that South Florida has to offer.
For daytime fun and nightlife, the Wynwood Arts District would be at the top of the list. It’s always buzzing with energy, covered in vibrant street art, and home to some of the most creative galleries, breweries, and music spots in the city. It’s the kind of place where you can spend the day wandering, and when the sun sets, the area transforms into a nightlife hub full of energy and good vibes.
For food and culture, I’d take them to Calle Ocho in Little Havana. It’s like stepping into a time capsule that celebrates Cuban culture with incredible food, live music, and an atmosphere that’s electric and welcoming. Strolling through Calle Ocho, grabbing Cuban coffee, and finishing the night with salsa music would be a must.
To mix things up, we’d also take day trips outside Miami. Downtown Fort Lauderdale offers a great balance of dining, shopping, and waterways that show a different side of South Florida. Delray Beach has one of the best restaurant and bar strips around—laid-back but full of character, perfect for a night out. And, of course, no trip would be complete without spending time in some of the many open-air botanical gardens scattered across South Florida, where you can slow down, take in nature, and reset before diving back into the city energy.
In short, the week would be a blend of art, culture, cuisine, and relaxation—a true reflection of everything that makes South Florida such a dynamic and inspiring place to visit.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a huge shout-out and recognition to Nagib Charles and Thanne “Thata” Capobiango for being such critical influences in my growth as both a photographer and an artist. Your unwavering positivity, creative ideas, and pure passion for art have been a constant source of motivation. Watching each of you pursue and succeed in your own personal careers inspired me to push myself further and take my own career to the next level. I’m truly grateful for your support, vision, and the example you set—you’ve played a major role in shaping my journey.
