We had the good fortune of connecting with Klara Chavarria and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Klara, what do you attribute your success to?
The love and respect I have for my work and for real art in general. I think authentic art and professional artists are important for society. It has been my passion and life since I can remember. I always respected and wanted to be an artist. I started painting classes when I was just a child and never stopped. I studied an Art Degree in Graphic Design and Painting and have worked in both career fields over the years as in the Marketing area.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is about humanity, my interest in trying to understand all the questions regarding life, being human, our emotions, feelings, relationships, etc. What sets my work and myself apart is a deep concern and respect in having professionalism and authenticity in the work. I am proud of over 20 years of a professional art career and so grateful for the hundreds of collectors that have appreciated and have acquired my work for their private, corporate and/or public collections or projects as all people that enjoy and respect my work. The challenges have been overcome by not quitting, hard working and focusing on the lessons to be learned and all the positive aspects of my career, but above all authenticity. It’s important to respect our work and keep striving for authenticity and evolution. We are now working on new projects as in a second book publication.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
