Meet Kraschanda Oliver | Fashion Stylist| Enthusiast| Creative Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kraschanda Oliver and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kraschanda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting my own business wasn’t the easiest thing to do, but the process behind it was me realizing that i had this gift that whenever i would put a look together it would be seamless. i would be in my element and there was something that felt very right about it.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What I think sets me apart is that i remain focused on my craft and what i’m doing as an individual in my field. i try not to allow outside forces affect me. i got where i am by remaining consistent, applying myself and allowing God to guide this path that i’m on. easy? no it really wasn’t but the love and passion behind it allows me to push past anything that’s stood in my way. lessons I’ve learned, not every opportunity is meant for you. and the ones that are will fit like a glove.
that’s such a big question… but i think i want the world to know that The Style Group is a force! My brand and my story they’re both still being developed still being told. there aren’t any limits on me and what i’m about to do. i’m just anticipating it all.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
for me my weekend starts on maybe a thursday, so i’d probably do dinner at one of the restaurants at our local Bahamian’ resort Bahamar. i love to workout out so on friday morning we’d definitely be in the gym before really getting the weekend started. friday would be drinks at swimming pigs monkey bar after for dancing. saturday lunch at one of my favorite local grill spots “Da Spot” later dinner at Marcus at Bahamar and one of our hottest night clubs Bond after. Sunday would be beach a d boat day.. take a trip to Rose Island or head to the Exumas where we get to swim with the pigs
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Oh gosh there are so many people that i love and respect so much for always supporting and encouraging me.. but my sister Dashanique has always been in my corner she’s such an inspiration to me. my mom for being the person that showed me that style and how we present ourselves is important. my friends they know who they are for pouring so much into me from encouraging words to mentioning my name in spaces when i wasn’t there. to anyone that’s ever hired me to be on set i appreciate you all!
