We had the good fortune of connecting with Kristi Price and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kristi, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I was a financial advisor and didn’t love my job. After my divorce, I made a lot of mistakes dating the wrong type of men for me. I did soul searching to value myself more, set better boundaries and spot red flags. As a result, I started helping friends avoid those same mistakes after divorce. I really helped others connect for healthy, loving relationships. I didn’t think a Date Coach was a thing 15 years ago aside from the movie Hitch. 😉 I went for it anyway, and I’m still here helping others through Date Coaching and, now, Matchmaking.
What should our readers know about your business?
I love helping singles connect for love. I work with everyone personally so I get to know each client and how I can best help them. Most of us become friends. It was not an easy journey as I knew nothing about Date Coaching or Matchmaking aside from what was self-learned and from reading lots of books and talking to other Matchmakers. I’m a people person and had a huge coaching background in different capacities, which also helped. We’ve been in the business for 15 plus years now and I love every minute of it as well as our clients. Our niche is helping active, positive minded singles find love.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d say kayak or boat to Peanut Island. Go to Palm Beach Island for lunch or dinner. All the restaurants are fantastic. Spruzzo at the Ben has a beautiful view of the water.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The Matchmakers Alliance is very supportive and informative. It’s a great network for Matchmakers.
