We had the good fortune of connecting with KRITIKAL and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi KRITIKAL, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
I AM 100% A CALCULATED RISK TAKER. NO RISK NO REWARD. I’VE always put myself in predicaments where I could lose a lot or even possibly lose it all for the chance to level up. I’ve never been one to settle for mediocrity I’ve always wanted bigger, better and more.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
With over 25 years in the music industry, 7 songs on radio, over 70 placements in television, movies and commercials, as well as garnering over 8 million streams on digital streaming platforms as well as performing in over 15 states across the United States, I’ve had a successful career. The journey has never been easy but it has always been satisfying. By always staying true to who I am and to my goals, I’ve learned to overcome many obstacles, as well as being able to develop patience, dedication and determination. I’ve also learned as a musician and a content creator, that your work may not be for everybody but it’s definitely for somebody. I want the world to know that no matter what people tell you, whether it’s friends, family or strangers, if there’s something you want to do in life, if you truly believe in yourself and your mission, nothing can stop you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was visiting the area I would definitely take them to Lucali’s for some amazing pizza, as well as Coyo Taco in Wynwood, for some tacos and for a little late night speakeasy action. If they wanted some more Mexican food, then we would have to check out Los Felix, a Michelin Guide Rated restaurant in Coconut Grove. I would take them to see the Design District for some shopping with a visually pleasing experience, as well as enjoying some people watching in Brickell.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate my shout out to life itself. I’ve always been the type to have to learn from my mistakes and life has taught me a lot of lessons due to them.
