We had the good fortune of connecting with Krystle Karee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Krystle, what matters most to you?
Work as if it’s your first day on the job, forgive quickly, love without conditions or boundaries.

I’ve been living by these principles for year’s and in addition to those, is something that else that I’ve learned and have gotten great insights on, and that is, there is a fine line between efficiency and effectiveness.

As entrepreneurs, I think it’s important that we identify and understand the difference between the two. Efficiency is needed, it’s great, but it’s not always effective.

I’ve found that effectiveness is very important and should be an integral part of the value system of every business as well as an entrepreneur.

Most importantly, effectiveness with other people, without that, I don’t think we should be in business at all.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Magic Glam Academy is the beauty brand that I launched in 2021, this brand has been 10 years in the making and has taken on different names and looks since then but has always been the same concept.

One of the things I’m most proud of this year is being able to define my services in a way where it flows seamlessly together as well as identifying my strengths and letting go of my weaknesses.

The core value of my business is customer experience, so I’m working diligently to perfect my processes to ensure top-tier experiences when customers are interacting with me, my brand, or utilizing my services.

To achieve this mindset and get to the point where I am today took a ton of work. Working on myself first has really gotten my brand and business where it is today. I’ve realized the more knowledgeable I become the more effective my business becomes.

The greatest lesson I’ve learned so far is that you can never stop learning. So I would like to use this opportunity to encourage others to be curious, be proactive with finding the answers and the correct way of doing things, and ALWAYS ask why.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Driftwood in Boynton Beach is one of my favorite places to go for happy hour and the most amazing meal you’ll ever have!

I am also an avid Bruncher so Sundy House in Delray Beach, Sassafras in West Palm Beach, as well as Red Rooster in Miami, are my go-to places for an amazing brunch.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are a few key people in my life who have supported and encouraged me throughout my journey so far.

My friends and family, Paulette, Kareece, Joseph, DJ, Hannah, Keida, Ayanna, Sophronia as well as my super supportive and loving son Kanaan.

Aside from friends and family, I like to kick my year off by reading Stephen Covey’s “The 7 Habbite Of Highly Effective People”. Book.

The principles outlined are similar to how I choose to live, that book has helped me to develop even more.

So starting with this mindset allows me to stay grounded throughout the year.
