We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyndall Cooper and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyndall, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
The decision to dedicate my business to God and be in partnership with Him when it comes to the vision that He gave me. Partnering with Him as a Co-Creator and trusting that He knows the beginning and end of all things relating to my life so although I can fail, He cannot & will not.

Putting that trust in Him when inconsistency happens or the unexpected pops up, knowing that my steps are ordered by Him if I put Him first and include Him in the process.

That is what shifted my business into growing and flowing without me trying to force it. Trusting Him over all things, including my wants or desires, that was the most important decision that I have made to get to this point.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Kynship Birth Collective is a faith-based company that I created to serve parents from pregnancy through early parenthood. The Kynship is about guiding parents to access their inner wisdom and confidence from the beginning in order to truly create an impactful empowered experience as a parent.

I began my journey as a Childcare Specialist for the last decade, knowing all things related to the ages 0-3 and became known as the baby expert by family and friends which led to my first doula referral. After supporting a mother of twins whom a year after became my godchildren, my interest shifted from Early Childhood Education to Childbirth.

Studying natural childbirth on YouTube University to development an understanding that birth should be centered around the mother. It should be calming, challenging at times but freeing in the end when they recognize their own power. Birth became a beautiful, sacred space that I felt compelled to be a part of and support. My love for helping children and families never left, I have chosen to have a different role that allows me to feel more fulfilled with every birth I experience.

The relationship doesn’t end after the baby is born, I offer ongoing support to continue to empower and guide the mother in the process of becoming a new version of herself in any way she needs.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best places to explore in the city would be Armature Works and International Plaza. My favorite beach would be to find a quiet end of St. Pete Beach, it is a gem most people don’t know about. The Riverwalk in Tampa is beautiful as well.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The support from my family and friends has pushed me towards greatness daily since I started my entrepreneur journey.
