We had the good fortune of connecting with Latoya Rattery and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Latoya, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?

My work is deeply rooted in community impact. Through Bold University, I am committed to empowering professional women by helping them balance leadership with personal well-being. By integrating faith-based principles with leadership development, we equip women to lead confidently in their careers while maintaining their mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Our coaching, events, and programs create a ripple effect—when women are strong, whole, and purpose-driven, they positively transform their families, workplaces, and communities

What should our readers know about your business?
My journey to where I am today hasn’t been without its challenges. I faced burnout early in my career, which forced me to take a step back and reassess my life and purpose. That pivotal moment taught me the importance of prioritizing mental health and wellness, something that is often overlooked in the fast-paced, demanding world of business.

Overcoming these challenges required a shift in mindset and the courage to pursue my calling, even when the path wasn’t clear. I leaned into my faith, sought therapy, and embraced self-leadership—learning that in order to lead others effectively, I first needed to lead myself with authenticity, balance, and care.

The lessons I’ve learned along the way are invaluable. True leadership is not about perfection, but about resilience, vulnerability, and service to others. It’s about being grounded in your values and making intentional choices that reflect those values.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that Bold University is built on the belief that women can lead powerfully while prioritizing their health and well-being.

We help women navigate the challenges of leadership with confidence, faith, and balance, empowering them to show up fully in their purpose and make a lasting impact in their communities.

My story is a testament to the fact that you don’t have to sacrifice your health or well-being to be a successful leader.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For the perfect day with my best friend,

we’d start with a relaxing brunch at CAVA enjoying fresh, healthy bowls to energize us.

Then, we’d head to the beach for some sun, sand, and relaxation, soaking in the beauty of the ocean. .

Afterward, we’d have a peaceful picnic in a nearby park, reflecting on our faith in God and connecting over meaningful conversation.

The day would be a beautiful blend of nourishment for the body, mind, and spirit—filled with moments of joy, rest, and reflection.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
As for my “shoutouts” I am incredibly grateful for the mentors, spiritual leaders, and loved ones who have poured into me along this journey. My faith in God has been my foundation, and I also want to recognize my family, close friends, and my Purpose Church family for their unwavering support. Their encouragement, prayers, and belief in my vision have fueled my ability to pour into others. No success is ever achieved alone, and I honor those who have played a role in shaping the leader I am today.
