We had the good fortune of connecting with Leo Popik and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leo, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
By the end of my professionally career, I’d like to be the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of the largest global empowerment community for CEOs.

I’d like to feel that my work has helped thousands, or possibly even millions, of CEOs become better leaders, live out their values, and achieve improved business results.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Leading Peers is the premier empowerment community for CEOs. What sets us apart is that our community was created by CEOs, for CEOs.

All our CEO mentors, facilitators, and advisors have experience in the role of CEO. We believe that you can only be an effective mentor coach, facilitator, or adviser in a role you’ve personally experienced.

We design every experience creating a safe space for our members to share their thoughts and experiences. Our staff doesn’t teach our members, but instead engages with them in conversations among peers where everyone learns and grows.

We believe that the greatest empowerment for a leader comes from allowing that person to express their problems and working with them through those problems so they turn into challenges, then into opportunities, and finally to gifts.

We create highly effective experiences, with a high return on the time invested, delivering coaching, content, connections, and community (our 4 Cs), that powerfully transform behaviors and results.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spots in the Greater Miami are lake-viewing homes in my area (Weston, FL). If my best friend came into town, I’d take them to a beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, a restaurant in Fort Lauderdale on Las Olas Blvd, and I’d recommend that they take an airboat in the Everglades if they’ve never done it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my wife Paula, without whom none of what I’ve achieved would have been even remotely possible.

Paula has constantly challenged me to get crystal clear on who I am and how I can become a better leader, live out my values, and achieve improved business results.

Paula’s love, companionship, and guidance have been, and continue to be, a crucial part of my success.
