We had the good fortune of connecting with Liandra Salles and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liandra, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process was actually trying to build a one-stop-shop for all the brands’ needs and being able to add value to them by consolidating multiple services within a single source provider. End to End, 360!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Skep360 is a women led business enterprise HQ’d in Miami. We work as an incubator of brands and a facilitator of services. Our a lá carte services focus on our clients’ most critical needs and opportunities such as integrated and custom warehousing operations, social media, creative management, showroom, internationalization and retail solutions. The process to get to where we are today was challenging. We put many hours into thinking and executing the business. I know people mostly see the glamorous part that goes on Social media but the reality is way different. Our biggest challenge was helping potential clients to understand the value of our unique service offering because there was such a need from these brands but no one was providing the scope of services (internationalization, warehouse and logistics, product shoot and copywriting, social media and creative marketing, showroom and retail solutions) that we offer under the same umbrella. Another challenge it was to grow the business through a global pandemic, adjusting and adding value to our client’s needs while maintaining profitability. The biggest lesson I have taken from the success we have had thus far is the importance of collaborations. Without being open to serve, to learn, to give and to collaborate you can not get far.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For happy hour I would definitely go to The Vagabond Hotel’ pool bar for the best drinks. My favorite is called The Dean by the way and I love the vibe, the music, the food… For a glimpse of the cool side of Miami I would take this person to The Citadel. I really enjoy to walk around, grab something to eat and appreciate popular art in all forms. Also I love the jazz night every Thursday at the Center for subtropical Affairs for a more diverse crowd.
For shopping and a nice lunch I would take them to the Miami Design District. You have everything you need to spend a fun day there. From shopping to art and music exhibitions. You can’t go wrong there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Where to start? I feel blessed to have had the opportunities to meet women in my career who really inspire me, starting with my mother who has always been an independent and entrepreneurial woman.

I can say that each person you meet in this life shares an unique prospective and the opportunity to learn from their individual experiences if you are really willing to listen and observe. A woman who exemplifies that is Martha Graeff who made a big difference in my career in the USA. She was the first one in the industry to open the door for me and for that i will be forever grateful. And i can’t not forget to mention my partners who have been so supportive in helping me to bring my dreams of Skep360 to fruition.
