We had the good fortune of connecting with Libby Duffy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Libby, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I lost my full time job during July of 2020 and I decided to start teaching yoga online until I could get another job. At the time, the intention was for this to just be part time and a side hustle for a little extra cash. But I now have the intention of making this my only job. Set my own schedule, work when I want, and be there more for my child and partner. The more energy I give to this the more energy I get. I’m just following where the energy pull takes me now, no more forcing things.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a mindset coach who uses tarot, yoga, and affirmations to help you cast a spell for a more positive you.

I help women live a life full of confidence so they stop acting based on other people’s expectations and feel empowered to live for themselves

The words you speak to yourself are your spells that you put yourself under. It’s all about the mindset and the intention.

Transform from a state of fear and anxiety to a state of confidence as you embark on the next chapter of your life. It’s time to shake off those expectations from other people and live your life for yourself. I help you fully embody your true self. I am here to build confidence and change mindsets!

This has not been easy to build but its been worth it. I no longer have the mindset to sit back and just work for someone else. This is where my energy is taking me and I want to follow that wherever it takes me.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Since I live in a small town in New Hampshire, I’d suggest that we either spend the day in Portsmouth. We’d eat lunch at the Green Elephant so we can get something delicious and walk along the water. Maybe pop in and out of the shops but being by the water and being close to nature is what fuels us. We’d meet up with others for dinner and drinks at the Thirsty Moose and just see where the night takes us.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to first thank my partner, Peter for believing in me every step of the way and seeing the value and potential in this even if I have a bad day.

Next, I’d like to thank Bree Zellis for shouting me out on this and getting me hooked up here.
