Hi Lieuci, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
One of my favorite quotes that has stuck with me through my art is Salvador Dali’s “Have no fear of perfection, you’ll never reach it.” We often strive for perfection and take pride in what we do but once you can come to the realization that it can never be reached, you’re able to break the mold and open Pandora’s box. So I began to see the beauty in the madness. Fusing the intellectual and emotional components of an idea with the physical impulse to paint.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art continues to evolve through different mediums. As one said, no style is style in itself. From abstract expressionism to figurative portraits to landscapes, I am pushing the boundaries of contemporary and modern art with avant-garde fashion. From digital to traditional to sculptures, there are no limits. Just when you think you got me pinned, I’ll turn around and shock you. I am most looking forward to what my art can accomplish and how big I can go. Designing furniture and interiors has been an interest of mine as well and scaling will be a intrigue part in all of that. Getting here today involved a lot of trial and error from architecture to fashion design. I was always an natural born artist and carried that throughout my endeavors. I wanted to test different trades, work with different materials and learn different subjects. Risks and the lessons it has thought me along the way play a big part in that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Keeping it art oriented, I’d start introduce them to the Design District where we can visit the many galleries in the area and take in all the art that Miami has to offer. We can then take a stroll through the District and shop the lavish designer shops then grab a bite to eat at the Michelin starred steakhouse Cote. Following that, Wynwood with its extravagant art murals and decor will be sure to catch their eye and attention. Once the sun sets, I’d take them to Nobu or Casa Tua for a taste of the finer things and spend the rest of the night enjoying Miami Beach’s nightlife.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to all that artists that previously paved the way for artists like me of today to continue to be inspired to do what we do. When we dive into the lives of other artists and observe their work ethic, routines, and habits that made them successful, it gives the ones learning today a blueprint and path to set upon to achieve their goals.
