We had the good fortune of connecting with Liz Hahn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Liz, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I grew up in Southern California, and half of my family lives in South Florida. Whenever I go visit my family, I love the nightlife and culture. I am part Venezuelan, so the Latin culture in Miami makes me happy. I absolutely love dancing to the music, eating delicious foods, hitting up famous restaurants and going out on the town. We launched Bad Boy Strip in Miami because it is such a hot spot. We find that bachelorette parties love hitting up South Beach for their destination bachelorette party.

However, before I launched Bad Boy Strip in Miami, I had a long way to go in my business journey. I started my first entertainment business in San Diego in 1991. I started in this industry because I love to have fun and organize parties, and I wanted to share this joy with others.

When I first started my entertainment agency, we provided go-go dancers, models, and promotion girls to the EDM DJ scene. Then, we started expanding and focusing on the bachelorette party planning industry.

We offered party entertainers to bachelorette parties, and I was happy to provide employment opportunities to all my friends; they worked with my agency as bouncers, dancers, models, photographers, web designers, radio personalities, managers, limo drivers, and so on.

I was fortunate to grow up near Malibu, so I spent my summers on the beach. I love being bi-coastal. I love the white sand beaches in South Beach. I have always loved the music and entertainment industry. I threw parties with good local music, beer, and eye-catching models. I continue that party spirit of fun to this day, and it is what I believe to be the key to my business’s beginning and success.

What should our readers know about your business?
Bad Boy Strip is currently offering bachelorette party planning packages and services in Miami, San Diego, Nashville, and other fun bachelorette party destinations. We customize party packages to our client’s tastes and offer party entertainers, from Bad Boy dancers to party butlers, bartenders, Nice Cabana Boys, and themed male dancers.

We love destination bachelorette parties and can fill your weekend with fun activities such as luxury party bus tours, fun pontoon boats and yachts, and winery tours. You can book everything you want for your bash with us. We’re a one-stop shop for memorable bachelorette parties in Miami and other locations.

We are proud of where Bad Boy Strip has come, but it has been challenging. When I first started, I bought just a pager and a list of phone numbers written by hand for the clients, the dancers, and the business concept. I needed to start from scratch to grow the business, and keep in mind this was happening in the 90s before the internet. I had to hustle. I leveraged my brand with the underground music scene and started building partnerships and strategic alliances with local venues and businesses. My team of promotion models and I handed out business cards, and since most people had computers, we offered screen savers with ads and pictures of party entertainers. Gaining brand visibility was hard work.

But things got easier with technology changes. We transitioned from pages to phones, launched our website, and now most of our marketing campaigns are online. There’s always something new to learn when running a business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a close friend would visit me in Miami, I would love to show them the town. We would start the fun in big style, get picked up on a Bad Boy party bus, cruise around, enjoy our own mobile club with disco lights and a dance pole, and show her popular spots in Miami. We would head to South Beach, enjoy delicious cocktails, maybe get some good eats, and go to a live music venue.

The following day, we could invite more friends, chill by the pool, enjoy the sun, and get the ladies pampered by a couple of Nice Cabana Boys. These guys would give us relaxing shoulder massages and keep our glasses full. We would finish the night by crawling some of Miami’s top-rated clubs, such as E11even and LIV.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to thank the Bad Boy models for dancing, working with my agency, and creating hard-to-forget moments for all my clients.
