We had the good fortune of connecting with Lizzie Terletskaia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lizzie, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I am 100% convinced that the success of any business is hidden in the owner’s love for the product. Utilizing the best marketing frameworks, investing thousands into go-to-market strategy or hiring the best talent will not bring the desired ROI if owner’s full heart is not there or in case there are doubts about the quality of the product/service.

I have no doubt my pastries and desserts are the best in Florida. Lizzie Sweezie products got the best looks, the best tastes and the best customer care and I am not willing to have it any other way.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs so the business side of a small business was pretty familiar to me. Then a unique product came into place. I was obsessed with the works of one of the top chefs in my home country and was able to learn from the best and then master the skill over the years of experience. Recently I realized I got a bit too comfortable with my current setting so I decided to take on a new challenge.
I am opening a physical location which will include a small store front and a large commercial kitchen. Lizzie Sweezie is getting into whole sale. This. is something I have not gone through before, so I find it rather difficult but I have been enjoying the journey so far.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Ever since I was a teenager I loved extreme sport. As of this day I am still a huge fan of snowboarding, skateboarding and wakeboarding/wakesurfing. Unlike my hometown in the heart of Siberia, South Florida allows me to wakesurf whenever which I am very thankful for.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have an amazing support system, My husband, my family, my friend group. All of them are here for me and my business. They are the biggest fans of Lizzie Sweezie as well! Also, would love to give a shoutout to my clients. A lot of the content you see on my social media is generated by them. I appreciate the support and love I get from my clients.
