Hi Locianna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was the need to find ways to improve the health and wellness of people during Covid and ways to boost immunity. As a Board Certified Autonomous Nurse Practitioner, I know there are so many viruses we fight off every day, and when your body is run down, dehydrated or immune stagnated, you become more susceptible to disease and virus. Finding a natural way to assist your body (along with pharmacotherapy) by using IV therapy, I can give you a higher dose and you receive 100% of the vitamins and supplements given. I call it Natural. Health. Awareness.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
HYDRATION Experience is a place where you can restore yourself back to homeostasis or balance. We use IV Therapy and Injectables to provide nutrients and hydration to you. You can only get to success through hard work. It can be very exhausting but it is beautifully rewarding. When starting a business it’s like birthing and raising a child. You nurture it in hopes it will be able to sustain on its own. You definitely have to be self motivated, even when you may be the only one cheering yourself on.

You learn so many lessons in the beginning of opening a business and you have to be able to adjust what you hoped your business will look like to what the needs of your clients are. There may be some tears in the beginning and self funding of the business but you are building your brand and your labor will not be in vain.

I would love the world to know how much I believe natural health is so important. You can still use your prescribed medications in combination with natural vitamins and supplement IV and Injectables. The more you take care of your inside, the more it will reflect positively on your outside! Your inner health is a reflective mirror. I always say Natural. Health. Awareness.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love the water and beaches, so that’s totally where we would start. I would probably start the morning off with a walk on the Broadwalk at Hollywood Beach for a sunrise walk. This will give my guest the best opportunity to see the beautiful creation God has given us…sunrise, ocean air and expanded lungs. I’m a bit of a foodie, so we would definitely eat.. A Lot! You can find healthy options almost anywhere! I love little hole in the wall restaurants, so we would definitely visit Osteria Acqua E Farnia Italian restaurant. Best Italian food off of US1 in Fort Lauderdale. I would also take them to my favorite Mexican restaurant LaBamba, off of 17th street with best virgin mango mojitos ever! And I would take them to Moonlight Diner in Dania Beach. Awesome burgers and fries! We would have to take a ride on our boat through the intracostal and maybe out to the ocean if the seas are only 1 feet. Lol. Maybe we will see some Dolphins too! But if we have time, may take a sneak down to the Keys for some great water activities and a day of relaxation.

I definitely want to give a shoutout to my wonderful husband Derrick! He has supported me through the journey of opening a business, which is a tough journey. It’s the hardest thing we have ever done. I also want to shoutout to my mother Barbara. She was my first client and has been so supportive.
