We had the good fortune of connecting with Lolita Oliveri and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lolita, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
To be honest when I started the brand, I didn’t ask myself too many questions. I would never have believed that it would have evolved in this way or at this speed. I just knew that I dreamed of living in sunny Miami and that I was a fan of bikinis. I also often said to myself that it was difficult to find beautiful, original swimsuits that were really at the forefront of annual trends, which encouraged me to create some myself. So it started very spontaneously!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am very proud to be one of the first swimwear brands to offer a REAL personalized service from A to Z. In addition to being handmade, my creations are reversible and therefore in addition to being multi-ways, they are especially sustainable. All this offered at a very affordable price so that all women can enjoy a swimsuit perfectly made for them! I am also very proud to have made this brand evolve alone by occupying all the functions of a company (stylist, pattern maker, seamstress, artistic director, community manager, web designer, photographer, customer service, and many other functions. …) And what makes me extremely proud and happy is to have allowed ordinary girls to become photo models by starting their career by my side (when no one believed in them)

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
if I were to take my best friend on an unforgettable trip. For starters, I’ll take her to Miami beach (because it’s clearly my favorite place). We would go to the beach, then in the afternoon do some shopping on ocean drive and lincoln road. We would probably end up at a pool party at SLS. Then in the evening, we would eat amazing sushi at Katsuya’s and then we would join friends at unavoidable LIV. We would continue until dawn at Eleven. The next day we would take a boat to the Bahamas, drink cocktails in the sun and swim with sharks.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank the AVOMARC business incubator who trusted me and helped me get started as an entrepreneur when no one believed in my project. Thanks to them I learned a lot and above all it allowed me to carry out my activity with ease.
