We had the good fortune of connecting with Loretta Wilburn and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Loretta, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I am from Forrest City, AR, a small town with lots of love and southern hospitality. I was born and raised in Forrest City, and it will ALWAYS be home for me. I love my community and the people who make it everything that it is today. From a child up to now, I have watched my dad get up early every day traveling to work. He’s always told my brother and I that “the early bird gets the worm” and “if you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done”. That has impacted me in more ways than I know. I’ve always taken my education seriously, and now as an adult, I am dedicated and committed to giving my very best on the job. I am thankful that I’ve had my dad as my example of what it looks like to stay the course. Even on days when I want to give up, I am able to reflect on how he pushes through even in times of adversity.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

We’re driven by technology and innovation to ensure we fulfill our key mission of helping our clients find their successful future. Get in touch so that we can kickstart your company branding today.

Opening my own business has always been a dream ever since I was a little girl. I always knew that one day I wanted to be the owner and operator of something that belonged to me. Watching others especially those my age and younger branch out and become their own bosses helped in pushing me to do the same. My business is still fairly new, but I know that in perfect timing everything will grow just the way that it should. It wasn’t easy making the decision to step out on faith and do something that I’ve always had a desire for. Having a strong support system that included tons of prayer and encouragement helped in making the decision making process easy.

I want the world to know that my marketing firm is here as a source of help. Whatever is needed to help in making sure that your business is not only a success but continuous to grow in the process, we are here to make that happen and more. We are dedicated to each of our clients individually and want nothing short of the best for you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting my hometown of Forrest City and it were Thanksgiving time, I would be able to show her a weekend that she’d remember for a lifetime.

Every year we have a 4 day basketball tournament the week of Thanksgiving called “The Rumble on the Ridge”. This is a tournament that brings the city out for a night of fun and cheering on the Mustangs! Another big event is The Mustang Mixer which is hosted by Ms. LaSandra Ward, a native of Forrest City. Every year she puts on this huge event that also brings the city out for a night of mixing and mingling.

This is a major time for my hometown because we get the chance to see family and friends and spent quality time with those who mean the most.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank Full Sail University and all of my instructors for making my experience in learning the ropes of the Digital Marketing world one that I’ll never forget. Every course that I took expanded both my thinking and learning. The experience that I had at Full Sail with the coursework and projects prepared me for the field, and I know that I will be successful in my future endeavors.

I would also like to thank my family, friends, and various co-workers who have pushed me since day one. I received so much support while going through my graduate program, and it still remains today. So for that, I say thank you!

A very special thanks to A Dose of Honey Skincare Products & Co. (Janeisha Hairston, CEO) and Wash & Chop LLC. (Anton Brandon & Myles Lee, CEO’s and Founders) for allowing me the opportunity to use your businesses to complete my graduate program journey. I was allowed the opportunity to use data and information from your businesses to help me in learning everything I needed to know about Digital Marketing. Thank you for trusting me and affording me such an amazing opportunity. I can never say THANK YOU enough! You’re appreciated!
