We had the good fortune of connecting with Luciana Preguerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luciana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We created Yosoy Marketplace with the purpose of creating a community of creative minds, where we all work towards the same goals throughout our individual businesses. Yosoy Marketplace was created after realizing that there are so many talented small businesses that were looking for a place to call home without the hassle of opening up place on their own. We are a CoWorking space for small retail businesses in the creative arts.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m the head designer for yosoy universe and manager for yosoy marketplace. We are very proud of creating a space for small businesses to thrive, while also helping each other to grow. We are very excited about the beautiful energy created at our space by the harmony of working together. Of course we had challenges like the pandemic for instance that brought us new lessons and different ways to work.
I would love to tell everyone to believe in their dreams and themselves, when you love what you do, everything is possible!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would start by driving them around our beautiful area of Hallandale beach, where we can visit the beach, the upcoming Art district where we are located. An awesome place for brunch is Ice Box café, just around the corner from yosoy marketplace, it offers a beautiful indoor garden for dining. Then we can visit the gulfstream, which is a very touristic place with horse racing tracks, casinos, bars like The Carousel, that actually has a carousel as a bar! Then dinner is at Etaru, a fine dining experience by the beach.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! There are this businesses that we will definitely want to shoutout, as their talents have been a wonderful inspiration for Yosoy Marketplace.

One of them is Luxe Flower Box, an exquisite flower shop that offers high quality floral arrangements with original designs on fresh and preserved flowers.

Tanguera Chic is a fashion forward line with Avant Garde designs geared towards Tango and Dance wear and nightlife.

Then we have Yosoy Universe with a fresh inspiration for the modern Goddess women. Yosoy universe provides a beautiful fashion line for activewear and bohemian styles of urban wear and transitional styles that can be used for day and nights.

Lit is a production company that services large events with lighting design. All this businesses are CoWorking @yosoymarketplace
