Meet Lucy Bello

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucy Bello and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Lucy, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand has been the intention to build a genuine connection with the community. I didn’t want it to feel like just another business I wanted to create something that felt inclusive, real, and rooted in the culture of the Miami rave scene. It’s about people feeling seen, heard, and part of something bigger. The energy we give out is the energy we attract, and that’s what keeps this community growing strong.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
It definitely wasn’t an easy journey. I started creating and getting involved in the scene pretty suddenly, right after a really tough breakup with my boyfriend of a year he was also a DJ and actually the one who first introduced me to how things work behind the decks. It was painful, but also the push I needed to find myself through music.
What really helped me grow was the support and connections from my friends, especially my crew Hiddenangelz. They’ve been instrumental in where I am today. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that not everyone around you wants the best for you not everyone is your friend. That realization was hard but necessary. I’ve learned to surround myself with the real ones, as my friend Pain From Above always says.
What sets my brand apart is the intention behind it: I’m always looking for people who feel like they have a purpose and a place in art and music, even if the world hasn’t told them that yet. Everyone is welcome here it’s more than just music, it’s community, healing, and raw expression.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d 100% make sure they had the real Miami experience not just the tourist version. First stop? One of my events, obviously. That’s the heart of the scene the energy, the people, the music. It’s where they’d really feel what Miami’s underground is about.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to my mom, Tahina her constant belief in me and myd dreams has been everything. She’s been my biggest supporter through it all. I also want to recognize the amazing people who have shown me love and support throughout this journey whether it’s through encouragement, sharing my work, or just being present, you’ve helped me grow. Lastly, I owe a lot of my creative inspiration to the artists who shaped my sound and vision: SALEM, RITUALZ, Black Kray, and Alice Glass. Their artistry opened doors for me to explore my own
