We had the good fortune of connecting with Makayla Principato and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Makayla, what do you attribute your success to?
The most Important factor behind my success would be Jesus Christ. Prioritizing God in your life, by seeking His guidance and living according to His principles, can lead to a more fulfilling and prosperous life. And with that, you will know your true divine purpose, and will flourish in everything he has called you to do

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an upcoming real estate investor and film creator. I like to turn the basic things into something better. I always had a love for cameras but never knew exactly why or what. But slowly I started shifting into cinematography and now I love it. Behind the Camera and in front! Finding the right story to tell, capturing the scenes, getting the perfect shot; creating videos / film is something I enjoy. Turning my lifestyle or ideas into a telling story for the camera to capture. It takes a lot of thoughts and ideas, and truly learning myself along the way to understand it’s all apart of the process. I definitely have a big goal in the film industry I want to come to pass, but know that’s all in God’s Timing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So I’m a little different, Im not the girl that’s club hopping, and going to concerts lol. I like places that are calm, relaxing or creative. So the spots I’m taking my friends to would be the beach, to watch the sunrise or sunset, definitely a roof top lounge or city strip to look at the city lights. Art museums or galleries, and my favorite spot for that would be the fluidbear workshop in Miami!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a big shoutout to my partner, Justin Paraison! If it wasn’t for his light he shined in my life I wouldn’t be where I am today. His support, his leadership, and drive was something that always kept me wanting more out of life. He makes the impossible seem so possible. It definitely made me open my eyes to the endless possibilities which are out there for me, and to always strive towards my goals, no matter what.
